Mathias almost falls for the spell, but he convinces himself that it is not real... or real enough anyway.
Mathias then decides to slow down his the enemies with the appropriate magic.
Slow on the enemies, DC 19 Will save or slowed for 6 rounds. Should get all the enemies except for the farthest left one. Don't think I am in threat range, but on mobile do I would 5' step if I have to. Move action to pull out a scroll.

You're still inside and the ceiling is some 30' up. The spriggans went before Mathias, but you can still target the same people as before.
A spriggan swings at the roc as it passes overhead, but misses the heavily armored creature. Combat reflexes Another pair then turn to hurl darts at the elf, one landing a lucky strike. 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Varian is nauseated for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 rounds after leaving the stinking cloud, so can only move actions in the moment. If you want, you can use a reroll (if you have one) to try and negate the illusion or the nausea, so your attack goes through.

DM Ranginui |

Stillgut is a nice investment for PCS. OK, Varian's outside of the cloud. It still blocks LOS for him, and will affect him if he goes inside.
Varian grievously wounds one of the fellnight spriggans, not quite killing it. About to cast a spell upon the Nagaji but not being able to find the troublesome ninja, the queen simply erects a tall wall of ice to cleave the room in two.
DC 21 will save to disbelieve - even if you save, it might be real. 1d100 ⇒ 43 - nope, not this time. The wall appears to be 11 inches thick, 10', and is perfectly smooth.
Two of the spriggans focus their efforts on Varians - one slowly moving up to him. The situation repeats itself for Mathias, as he finds himself outnumbered two to one as well - nothing the spriggans do, however, pierces the warriors armor.

Rhoswen begins to drone in a dark, forbidden tongue, calling upon shdowy words of power before gesturing with her staff again. the first was a will save, not reflex, which would have failed on a 13+4=17. So its half damage for you (16) Much of her stuff is shadow magic, so its always proceeded by a will. I space cadeted that Eolowyn is on holiday for another couple of days.
