Iko, its not always good to trip. That makes the emery harder to target. Azrael explains as he advances and fires a single flaming arrows at the prone enemy. His devotion to Erastil prevents him from taking any penalty from people in the way.

Iko looks back at Azrael as he steps out of the way of the flaming arrow then settles into a defensive posture, getting ready for his enemy to attack.


Azrael's arrow misses the mark as the bloated man is on the ground, the arrow thuds into the solid oaken doors of the Garrison.

SteelGate steps over towards the tripped opponent and attacks.

SteelGate misses as well AC 14 while down. Blue flies up to the open window on the 2nd Floor left side of the front of the building.

Blue:

The window is bared on the inside, the room is dark and there is a buzzing noise coming from with in.

Lynn moves on to the other guy and continues stabbing.

Lynn's blow lands on the bloated body, drawing a line across the naked abdomen drawing out more puss than blood.

Then the wave of dark energy erupts and he tries to fight against it using his monastic training to focus himself.

Once he composes himself he hacks twice in a flurry against the bloated fallen creature.

SteelGates final slam flattens the body, worms come pulsing out of the mouth and other orifices. The bodies smell sickly, there is a rot smell as well from when the one attempted to cast a spell.

The door is locked from the inside, THe DC is 30 to unlock. The door has hardness 8 and 20 HP per foot

Blue turns on the windowsill and chirps a few times before flapping down and lands on SteelGate's head.

"Good job Blue." Tink says holding his hand out for the bird to land on. He ruffles around in his robes and pulls out a treat out for Blue

Moving forward Azrael examine the door for traps and checks the lock. The lock is complex. he notes as he checks the door.

Disable Devise: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31

It takes him a second try, but he is able to open the door.

Lynn rubs her eyes and checks again if that is real. A paladin of a lawful deity of celestial inheritance for whom a good lock is only a minor obstacle? "I guess that saves us the search for another entrance." she comments dumbfounded.


P2. Foyer
Along the northern wall of this room, a frieze depicts a line of
mounted crusaders crashing over a horde of twisted demons.
The crusaders’ faces have been obliterated and vile graffiti is
carved over the entire scene. Fresh blood stains the floor.

To the Left:
The faces of the portraits that hang on the walls of this room have been slashed. Two marble planters lie smashed in pieces on the ground, and mud streaks across the white stone floor.

As this room has nothing of real interest Lynn looks for doors that lead on.

P4. Befouled Shrine
A bracket shows where a longsword once hung over a stylized
gold sunburst affixed to the south wall. Lines of strange runes
are carved into the walls on both sides of the sunburst. Dried
blood and excrement have been smeared across the sunburst
and a short bench for kneeling that sits on the floor.

Azrael shoots Lynn a quick wink as the door comes open. Deal with demons and human skum long enough and you pick up a trick or two. the paladin says in way of explanation.

When he sees the sunburst he studies it a moment.

"I can, you also have that cloth." Tink replies as he starts to clean bit by bit with prestidigitation

Lynn takes the cloth out of her pocket, looks at it, looks at the gore at the walls and decides to leave it to Tink to discreetly remove that from afar. She puts the cloth back into her pocket.


After about 10 minutes or so everyone cleans up the shrine, you feel a warmth inside of you.

Does Azrael do anything special?

The paladin, still not satisfied, tries one more thing. Placing hand on the now cleaned stylized gold sunburst he channels positive energy into it. Awaken. he says hopefully.

As you move closer to the sunburst you note the writing changes a bit as you are lower than writing

There are no secret doors located in this room.


There are 2 exits to this room, a door to the north and a door to the east, both are solid doors and provide no way to see what is in the rooms beyond.
