When everyone is ready to continue Jaed will lead to the end of the bridge while looking for traps.

Millsy the Cat |

Reflex: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Millsy leaps out of the way and completely avoids the molten explosion. [ooc] evasion[/dice] She purrs as Marzela channels which brings her back to full health and sauntera back to Finnrick rubbing up against everyones legs as she makes her way... Even Carrakas.

Finnrick |

Looks like your fighting prowess has impressed my girl here Finnrick says to Carrakas as he sheaths his scimitar. Then to Lilly "see I told you I wouldn't let that creature befoul us" he laughs and steps forward to look at the creature they just put down.

Carrakas |

Ref save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Distracted by the sudden appearance of gold, Carrakas completely fails to avoid the molten metal. Despite his natural resistance to such things (Fire Resistance 5), he still takes quite a burn. Total of 13 fire damage. Marzela's healing helps quite a bit, but he is still limping slightly.
He gives a little smile at Millsy and a nod to Finnrick. "Glad she's warming up - she's quite a fighter herself"

DM Puppet Master |

A lot of the melted wreckage appears to be gold, but it is mixed in with some more common metals.
The other side of the bridge does not appear trapped. You can see a little further down the road the path splits in three other directions. The intersection is a large, 50 square foot area outlined by a small channel that seems to be free of gold.
Updated the overall map pointing to said intersection. Which direction would you like to head in (North is up)?

Marzela |

I imagine we are trying to get to the center of this place, so we should take whatever path seem to lead us in that direction. Does that sound right to everyone?
If everyone agrees, then I think we go north until we find that the path ends, and then pick a new direction at that point, if nothing else gets in the way.

Jaed Zandorias |

"Agree. I don't want to be around when the flooding starts."
Looking at the map, I think the fastest route is to continue until the next intersection as Marzela says and then go (either clockwise or counterclockwise) until the road at the opposite side. If that's the plan, Jaed can go first, as always, looking for traps.

Lily's no metalworker, but any pseudo-medieval blacksmith, jeweler, or weaponsmith should know that even a campfire can get hot enough to make gold melt, so it separates easily from other metals (which will stay solid). But if we're in a hurry we may not want to take the time for that.
"Thanks, Finnick," says Lily with a short laugh. "I appreciate the consideration."

Finnrick |

"I could always scout from above if you all would like, but Jaed and Marzela's plan sounds good"

DM Puppet Master |

The mass from the just-melted statue is too hot to touch, but there are the solidified masses from what appear to have been two other statues nearby. Each mass currently weighs about 500 lbs.
The group walks north to the first intersection, Jaed searching for traps as they go. The only sound is the faint burbling of the slowly flowing golden river. The street seem remarkably intact, though the same can not be said of the ruins of former buildings lining it. Anything organic is long gone, leaving only gold covered stone ranging in height from only a few blocks to a little over head level. Everything sparkles and reflects from the Jaed's magically lit *insert whatever Finnrick cast light on here*. It's a rather odd combination.
As Jaed steps into the first intersection, a large bonfire suddenly appears in the center of the square. Quickly a face made of flames appears along with two arms. A cruel smile appears before it begins to move its mouth, speaking in a popping, crackling language that sounds much like a log burning. "ပိုများသောကစားစရာအမှုအရာ? ယနေ့တွင်ကောင်းသောနေ့ဖြစ်၏။"

A 1 on the attack roll... Fantastic

Marzela |

Marzela can't think of anything else to do, so she casts Create Water and dumps 10 gallons of water right on top of it.
I just looked it up and there are discussions about it on the boards, but there is nothing definitive. They seem to be just fights about whether it would just create a cloud of steam or do any damage. It is zero-level so most people said if it was allowed it might do a tiny bit, others said it would do nothing, others talked about how they can't cross or enter water, so it might do something... anyway, totally your call, and I'm completely okay if it does nothing. It was just an idea because I don't think I have anything else that might help. The only thing I could find that actually said it would do something was HERE, but that's 5E, so not applicable.

Jaed Zandorias |

"I suppose no running away from this one either, big guy?" Jaed looks back at Carrakas over his shoulder. "Anyone in the mood for a barbecue?" the rogue asks before charging in the direction of the creature.

@Marzela: After reading through the ideas posted in the first thread google brings up, I think I'm going to go with Create Water does 1d6 + CL damage, with a Reflex save to negate that. That seems to put it about on par with Disrupt Undead with the exception that it scales some with level since you can add more water at higher levels.

Lily gives the create a dark glare. He shivers as the fate turns its back on him, though the shiver does manage to jerk the creature out of the way of first Finnrick's snowball and then a suddenly appearing torrent of water from the sky. He cackles gleefully as Jaed charges in and swipes at it. The blow lands, but the elemental doesn't even seem phased by it.
"သငျသညျအကြှနျုပျကိုငှါလာသလော ဘယ်လိုကြင်နာ" Gleefully it attempts to embrace Jaed in a warm hug, only to have the rogue just barely dodge out of the way. He frowns. "သင်တို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်အဘယ်သူမျှမပါသေးကိုင်ထား"

Marzela once again summons water over the elemental's head. Once again it easily side steps the unexpected torrent, using the same movement to nimbly dodge both Carrakas' attack and Finnrick's snowball. Anticipating the action, Jaed using the movement to try to swing at the creature with his swords, but the living fire sees the blows coming and dodges out of the way at the last moment. Jaed Zandorias |

Reading DM's description of its reactions I think this thing may have some kind of damage reduction or immunity to Jaed's swords. Adding that to its innate immunity to sneak attacks and crits, I don't think Jaed can produce any significant damage. So I'll change tactics and try to aid Carrakas hoping he can make some more damage.
Jaed shivers when he gets healed. "Thanks, Marcela, that felt good." He then yells to Carrakas, "Big guy, I'll distract this thing so try to hit it hard," turns to face the elemental and starts waving at it. "Am I too fast for you? Try to get me!"

Hmm, looks like I forgot to add in the knowledge spoiler that the elemental has DR 5/-.
Finnrick summons an ice elemental and the two planar beings immediately begin yelling at each other in their respective languages. Neither of them were able to understand the other, but that was hardly the point. The overall tone of the comments were pretty clear, especially the fire elemental's laughter as the ice elemental lunged at him only to meet empty space.
As the two elementals "play", Jaed and Carrakas team up, allowing Carrakas to land a solid blow. Meanwhile Lily (bot) moves to get a clear line of sight and attempts to zap it with a small bolt of acid, but is overly conservative trying to avoid hitting her companions, and it bolt zips over the fire elemental's shoulder harmlessly.
RTA: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 5 - 4 = 14

DR5 and no sneak attacks. That makes it virtually impossible for Jaed to produce any kind of significant damage.
Jaed is happy to see the Tiefling finally smashing the elemental with a hammer. This, and the inability of the monstrosity to land his blows makes the rogue feel more confident in his plan. So confident in fact, that his waving gives way to a more rhythmic movement set to attract the elemental's attention. From the distance one could think the rogue had just started dancing.

Both Marzela and the ice elemental manage to hit. The fire elemental manages to shrug off most of the damage, but hisses as the ice douses some of its flames. Annoyed by the other elemental's cackling glee at hitting him, he turns and first attempts to melt the creature.
