Here is what we know about stone golems. I just realized I never rolled then (Xiddik was too busy getting brutalized to think about golem biology), so still holding out for my Lorekeeper next round.

The big wasp dodges the worst of the first two spears, but ends up practically on top of the third one. Its buzzing grows louder, and Jametor can't help but think that he has injured it. Flapping its stone wings impossibly, the golem flies forward and slams a leg into the offending elf!

In an effort to protect all his friends, not just the bar, Asht’el takes several steps away and conjures up a ball of golden dust. As he throws it at the stone wasp, he becomes visible once again, and nervous, given how hard the wasp struck Jametor.

Move to M11, then cast glitterdust, DC 20 Will save, SR/immunity need not apply.

The stone near the wasp's eyes shifts quickly, almost as if the wasp had blinked. Its buzzing intensifies as it realizes that the powder surrounding it isn't tasty pollen, and one of its eyes seems to fix on Ash'tel with an evil light.

The golem buzzes angrily as Njord's blows knock off a few chunks of stone. Fíriel's acid burns away a bit more just as Xiddik yells that the way to damage it is to use adamantine. The wasp, heedless of the kobold's cry, jabs at Njord with its stony legs! Njord, Jametor, and Fíriel need a Will save or be slowed.

5-foot step to L10 and draw persistent metamagic rod. I’ll delay until I know whether my buddies are slowed. If anyone fails their save, I’ll cast haste again. If they all make their saves, will cast glitterdust again.

You could do that whole "grab the adamantine bolts" thing now, is I think what Oladon means. You know it will be effective.

I think Oladon might mean that Jametor will provoke an AoO when he casts the spell, since the wasp has reach. And how do we now know about the weakness to adamantine? Is it from Xiddik's Lorekeeper roll above?

stone golems are cheaters. I don't have another spell that can affect it, except for TK and that's still going to get me an AOO I guess i can withdraw.

I am at work and can't see the map, but how is he moving forward into those north eastern squares where Ash and I are backing into without having to bowl over the bear? I may just be a little dense here but I know the 5 ft step works both ways, but the bear is right there and that golem isn't a halfling. If i am being a whiney elf..let me know

Xiddik’s revelation about the adamantine bolts has now been pointed out to me, so I’m going to change my action. Disregard previous post.

Jametor: you took Asht'el's place last round, which was adjacent (just to the right) of the bear. The golem stepped NE 5', and is now adjacent to both of you.

Asht'el's apostrophes bolts mostly miss or clatter harmlessly off the golem's stone exterior, but a few manage to plink off small bits of stone.

Everyone but Asht'el is up.

Randall sees the sizzle on the wasp when Firiel's missile hits and he hustles back to his gear where he stuffs two handfuls of muffins into his mouth and begins rustling through his bag looking for some vials.

I will let you decide if he has enough actions to get back to the doorway or just to retrieve the vials of acid, Oladon, but I don't think he would be able to attack this round.

Fíriel shakes off the sluggishness she feels creeping over her and tries to think what she can possibly do. Pursing her lips, she darts out from behind the curtain and tries to get out of the golem's reach, hoping against hope that it won't react quickly enough to pound her into pulp. Once she's out of reach, she reaches into her belt pouch and pulls out a ball of snow and ice to fling at the creature! Move to K10. Cast snowball; second level 1 spell today.

Njord is buffeted but Asht's protective skin mitigates much of the damage. Seeing Firiel fall sends the big man into a rage and thick fur begins to sprout from his arms as he winds up to smash into the remaining bee-golem.

Holding his metamagic rod high in one hand, Asht'el conjures another ball of glittering golden dust into the other. He draws his arm back, the dust falling in a shimmering spray onto his shoulder, then throws the dust-ball at the stone wasp!
