Asht'el continues to move quickly to keep ahead of the swarms of bugs, hustling after Randall, who seems to have been badly chewed up by the things. As he reaches the wounded halfling, Asht'el draws a wand from his belt pouch.
Move to N27 (before the bugs moved, so no damage taken), draw wand of infernal healing.

Fíriel starts running toward Jametor, but then realizes that the only way to keep the swarm from coming after him is to give it something else to keep it busy. Running up behind Antal, she gives him a shove. "Run!" she calls, holding up her arms to try to keep the swarm from ignoring her.

The group departs their hiding place and heads back towrad camp. Not far from their fight with the swarming insects, they stumble across a group of four elven scouts who weren't so lucky. The corpses have been stripped of anything useful and left in broken, battered piles in the street.
Within the city, the fighting continues to rage through the night, and a few times in their journey the party nearly stumbles into skirmishes, but manages to avoid them at the last moment without being noticed. An hour or two later, they arrive back at the camp without further incident.

I have haste, 3 scorching ray and a magic missile left. I think we are getting close to the end of my 2nd mage armor, so we'll be dependent on wand casts and at 1 hour per, that could cause us some issues, not to mention expensive.
It's night, shouldn't we head off to rest and recharge? I for one would like to have my full compliment of spells back.

The group heads off to their tent to sleep, sending a messenger to report their success to Eviana. The night is long, the watches uneventful, and the group wakes in the morning feeling quite refreshed. A messenger appears as they're finishing their breakfast, informing them that Eviana wishes to meet with them. When they arrive at her tent, she wastes no time.
"Well done yesterday... we may yet pull through this. The next target we need you to eliminate is an old granary on the south side of the city, here. We aren't sure what you may face there, and it may even be a false lead, but it seems to be some kind of refuge and we cannot afford not to investigate it."
She pauses, waiting for the group's assent.
