As Yorn crosses the plank, Mark looks to the other entrance that Shalee mentioned. "By process of elimination, I deduce that this is the way forward," he says, pitching his voice slightly higher to imitate Nalun's turn of phrase, then nudges the wizard playfully as he walks through the portal.

The floor of this room has fallen away, leaving a narrow, charred ledge along the south and east walls. To the northwest, a ledge heaped with crates and barrels sits, while above the rafters of the attic lay bare to view.

The ledge is safe to walk on, but is sloped dangerously at
places, and requires a successful DC 1 0 Acrobatics check to
navigate.

Nalun lands in the muck and begins flailing about madly.


Nalun is fine. Maggie is already as sick as she is going to get from the stuff so she does not need to roll again. In fact after the first Fort roll for being in the Poop don't roll anymore.


Map has been updated where the Goblins are and where your character is. Sha and Kierra are still at the entrance debating on the sanity of all of this. (have not posted)

Yorn just move along the edge spaces of the map so no charging. The edge spaces have room for you to walk on if you make your acrobatics check like you just did.

One goblin fires off a shot at Yorn.

Yorn skirts along the edge of the floor and swings at the goblin.

Mark and Yorn Both miss and smash the barrels and flooring with the dual great axes.

The Goblins run away from such a display of force and into the next room.

You both take a swing as they run away only Mark connects cleaving the head from on of the 2 goblins.

They left there heavy crossbows and 11 bolts where you are standing.

Yorn howls with frustration and tries to pursue the remaining goblin.

Can I get into the next room or close enough to it to get a swing at it? If so...

Yorn rushes in to the next room and catches himself just before he falls into the sewage. This chamber has no floor, opening directly into the sump of a sewage pit below. Likewise, the charred ceiling has fallen away, revealing the fire-blackened rafters above. next to a hole cut in the southwest corner of the wall, a crude ladder that has been nailed to the wall provides access to the rafters above.

You look up and see that the Goblin has climbed into the rafters.

Mark lets out a satisfied "Ha-ha!" when he cleaves the fleeing goblin's skinny neck. Looking up, he catches Yorn's retreating backside as he charges into the pipe. Following him, he points over the half-orc's shoulder at the ladder. "Up there!" he shouts.

Yorn pursues the fiend up the ladder.

Yorn learned his lesson climbing up the ladder and simply climbs up the wall instead. That ladder will break under your weight as well. Your welcome =P

Yorn pulls himself up on a rafter, pleased to have avoided the dangerous ladder. He looks around for the goblin as well as checking the condition of the rafters before proceeding.

He looks frustrated, trying to operate such a tiny weapon in comparison to his greataxe. Wish I could just cleave the bugger... he thinks to himself as he struggles to aim straight.

Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1


Nalun you detect strong ancient magic coming from above you in the rafters. Also please remember there is no where to stand in the new room the whole floor is sewage.


Yorn you find yourself alone in the rafters with

and a human woman you assume is Natalia

DC 20 Climb check to get into the rafters.

Yorn your in combat so take your first action.

You guys on the ground have line of sight on Yorn if you jump into the sewage.

GUYS! Something very powerful is up there! Nalun shouts as he examines the arcane aura further.

Yes but not enough to be combat effective. The magic is coming from the human woman. The magic is ancient Thalosian.

Yorn pulls himself up onto the rafter, full of pride. That pride turns quickly to panic as he sees the array of potential enemies around him.

"Why do I wander off on my own like that?" he mutters to himself.

Yorn carefully takes a step back away from the creatures, making sure to stand only on the spaces where the two perpendicular rafters cross and avoiding what appear to be the crumbling areas.

He looks to the woman and says, "Natalya? Lady Heidmarch sent us to help you. She's very worried about you. Are you okay?"

Shalee makes a badass motion with her sword. Dazzling Display Intimidate: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20. "Stand down, goblins, and live."


Natalya is shaken for 2 rounds the Goblins 3 rounds.

-2 to Hit with all weapons.


Natalya responds to Yorn.

No one such as you does not deserve the shard. You will only try to take it from me. No one else is worthy of its power!


I have changed my mind you can shoot from another room but the targets will have cover. +4 AC.

Yorn dances over to the next intersection of rafters and strikes out at the dazed goblin. While moving he says, "Shard? We're not here for any Shard. We're here to help you."
