DM B's PbP Game Day 4 Quests: Phantom Phenomena (1st) (Inactive)

Game Master Beckett

A series of six Quests designed for 1st-level characters.
Bizarre phenomena have tormented the people of southeastern Ustalav for decades, and these events become stronger and more dangerous every year. Hoping to uncover the origins of these flashes of red lightning and spectral hauntings, Dr. Quolorum from the Sincomakti School of Sciences has set out with a team of able-bodied assistants. Can the PCs help the professor unlock the secret that dwells above Lantern Lake?
Phantom Phenomena includes six, 1-hour adventures that take the PCs to a superstitious village, a lightning-scarred woodland, an ancient Kellid monolith, a haunted manor, an occult university, and finally into the storm-choked mountains. Experience the adventures in any order to create a unique story.

Ok, I see it now. I'd never realized that, looking everywhere but the actual Quest PDF itself.

That is correct, it just has to be a 1st level character, not a "new" one.

Phantom Phenomena DOES use the same rule as The Silverhex Chronicles, which is to say that if you stop playing it and get credit from something else, you can not go back. I honestly do not understand why, but, as I said, I plan on giving the full Chronicle at once, it shouldn't be an issue for anyone unless they intend to apply different Chronicles to different 1st level Characters.

I've also PM'd everyone. Please check it out when you can.

Got the PM ... I think that I am all set? Oloch is my pregen playing in both.
The characters to apply credit to are:

Phantom (Warpriest 1): Mierin Eronaile 147934-11 (Level 1 never played)
Fane (Warpriest 4):: Miaka Oinari 147934-5 (Level 2/1)

I am all set to go for both Fane and Phantom.. I just put both levels under spoilers in the character description and will rotate out the tag line in between games.

Just so I am clear, if I play with the Pre Gen another character of mine gets the credit. Would they be able to level if I did that?

For Phantom Phenomena yes, but can only be applied to a level 1 character.

For Fane of Fangs, yes, but can only be applied to a level 1, 2, or 3 character. IF you play one of the Level 5 pregens, you can also apply it to a Level 4 character.

You can only apply it to a character that is of a lower level than the pregen played.

I have a lvl 1 warpriest that is finishing up his first adventure so I could apply it to him and he would be at 2/3 to level?

Sorry, I have been travelling. I am good with Fane of Fangs too. I'd like to plat the monk.

Yes, and in fact you are required to play with a Pregen for Quests.

I have the psychic downloaded but do I have to make a seperate profile for her now?

Yes, please. What I have seen a lot of people do is make a Profile just for "Pregens", so you could name it something like "GGPW's Pregen", or "Gnick Gnak's Pregen", and then simply copy/paste each time you alternate.

I've gone through everyone that is supposed to be playing Phantom Phenomena and made a few notes. Please check out the one for you and see what is still missing. I've noticed that although all of you have posted in the Gameplay thread, many of you are not showing up in the Characters list, and I'm not sure why. I'll see if I can mess with the GM Campaign info, but if not, can I have everyone post again, with their character, in the GamePlay thread.

Just so you are tracking, Phantom Phenomena does require the level 1 version of the pregen. Could you swap that out soon, please. Also, would it be possible to temporarily change your picture to something a little more related to the character for now, (I use them for maps and it helps to remember who did what). Finally, please verify that this is all correct for Phantom Phenomena:

I am trying to decide if I can reasonably run Fane of Fangs alongside Phantom Phenomena. IF I could, would anyone be interested in that?

I know that most of you would then be in two different games. And this would also mean that some of you might need to make another "Pregen Character". Or, if you where planning on doing the same pregen, you could just put stats in for both. Thoughts?
