After the visions:
"To discredit the information learned in the visions is to misunderstand their purpose as someone or something caused us to see what will be stained with what cannot come to pass," Diri explains. "I regret that I was not determined enough to see more of it before the pain overwhelmed my consciousness which bears the question of the duration of my unconsciousness?"
Diri scrawls notes regarding the details she remembers.
Now:

"We need to ascertain the cause and solution to her affliction soon lest her psyche shatter completely," Diri states, observing the fleshy mass covering the doors. "Once again we will have to clear the demonic taint from the walls before proceeding," she adds, looking to Rilas and Aikio, who have proven to be able to rid said growths.

There was a small stone in the futures room. It seems to have three functions. The first is a continual flame so that it acts like acts like an Everburning Torch. Secondly, it seems to function as a key of some sort, though perhaps not alone in a set. Lastly, it also acts like a clear spindle ioun stone.
Aikio shudders, maybe at Valais' second personality speaking up, maybe in that she agrees with it. "I don't think we should go through this door."

Ariana having known Aikio in the past looks very concerned about the change. She was gleeful in her love of fire, and was able to concentrate well. Maybe we should look for some sort of key or something that will fit in the doors. Knocking them down may not work.

![]() |

Sorry, I was meaning to suggest that you do discover it, you just find it much harder to do than you normally would.
Just to clear things up, you do have one of the two "keys", and you could attempt to pick the other one. It is not a magical lock, through the door itself does have a few magical auras. It's also possible that the other "key" is somewhere around here too.

![]() |

Since we have had to make a choice and there are two keys, we can go back to the statue and turn right. Perhaps the second key will be down there.
No worries, I couldn't un-post it so I figured it was something strange :)

Sorry, my computer broke over the weekend, and I'm still having issues with it after doing a complete wipe. Even now, my spacebar is not functioning, so I am improvising.
The walls of the chamber are smooth black marble; a fist-sized black stone set in a niche in the eastern wall seems to absorb light. A small crystal shard glows with an eerie purple light at the apex of the angled ceiling. Shades of faint movement skitter across the far wall.
While you do not spot any traps or hazards along the way, as soon as you enter the next room, suddenly the door behind you slams shut, and it seems your very shadows, cast upon the far wall, spring to life and attack.
Due to Space here, I'm just going to say that Pets are locked outside for this one.

Noted. I'll change it.
As Rilas moves closer to the door, the shadowy figure that looks identical except for it's darker hue moves with im, cramming itself along the back well, and firing an arrow at the real Rilas, exactly mirroring his movements as he does. Both arrows land, causing the other to bleed very real blood. Oddly, the remaining shadowy party seem to not move or act, allowing Savage the next opportunity to go as they seem to wait for something. When you stop attacking, they do likewise, otherwise mirroring your exact actions, though they only move to an area that is the same distance, but in the opposite direction as you. A moment later, a new, fully healed and unharmed version of Turak appears, once again doing all that he does.
It takes you a little bit of effort, but you are able to remove the crystal from the stone, revealing it is actually a wand, with the crystal itself as the wands tip.
While complete, it functions as a Wand of Shadow Conjuration, though the tip, that darkly lit crystal seems to be a replica of the light crystal you had also found. When the two are brought close together, they seem to cancel each other out, or sort of. Both seem to radiate light, but together, their light seems more natural. Not the black light of the one or the sterile white light of the other, but rather a simple, natural seeming light.
With both keys now in hand, you return tot he last room, and place both of the crystals into the small slots they fit into. As you do so, suddenly both Valais and Aikio fall to the ground in absolute pain, but on the door itself a small compartment opens.
