"Its probably a good sign that rugs top our danger list."

Sashah |

"It might seem. Zhough, it could be bad sign as ve not know vere enemies might be," Sashah says matter-of-factly, clearly not picking up on Myastan's intent.

Greycastle |

Sorry for the slow posting guys. The site outages have been tough.
The woman beckons Ravvek to sit seductively ”You won’t be needing your weapon and shield though my love. I assure you, we are quite safe. Come, sit with me.” strangely, you feel compelled to do as she asks.
She moves to a long padded bench and sits, motioning with her finger for you to come to her.
As you move into the room, it appears to be a bedchamber. In one corner to the south stands a large wooden sleeping platform, badly gouged by axe blows and partially burned. A table, a bench, and a writing desk have been similarly treated. In the middle of the southern wall, a space has been cleared for a simple sleeping pallet. One additional door exit to the north as well as a door on the western wall.
Searching the room, it appears to be currently lived in but no one is here at the moment. You find nothing of great interest. The second door to the north appears to be a bathing chamber. Is there anything else you would like to do here before moving through the western door?

Myastan Zayless |

Zayless moves over to the desk. When others he hopes aren't looking he pokes it with his spear just to be its not alive. He then searches about the desk.
investigation: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Ravvek the Avenger |

I am so screwed... >.< But what a way to go! ^_^

Scramsax |

With no sign of the staff and the others searching the desk, Scram examines the bathroom.

Uriah follows the others in a daze. His world is crashing down upon him... someone else is seducing the maidens. A paladin no less. This cannot be.

Scramsax |

Pinching his microscopic nose tightly at the chamberpot, he is about to scream in frustration but then a smirk crosses his eyes and he releases his nose "...hey guys, I found something, come quick."
Deception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Halfling lucky: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Raiden Bartok |

I just snorted my water catching up on the reading. This is awesome.
Insight: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 Raiden senses something is off, but hurries over to look at the BIG THING Scram is showing off anyways.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 Noticing how glum their bard is, Raiden offers We're just here to pick up that wizard stick. Sing her a tune when we return, she'll see how talented you are. Plus it's Rav, what could happen in these few minutes? Bwahahahaha!

Sashah |

Sashah grumbles grumpily at the lack of interesting things at the desk. He the slowly makes his way toward the hubbub.

Ravvek the Avenger |

Ravvek blushes and fumbles with his buckles... I can't wait until Uriah sees this! Especially if I am a husk by that time! >.<

Scramsax |

As the others come in he raises his blades defensively in hand "It's in there, grab it. Turns out it was a rod, not a true stave. Anton and I have you covered. Quick!"
edit: He adds "I know what it looks like but its just some kind of mind jinx, we thought so too."

Scramsax |

The life leaves his face "Aw. You ruined it. ...and no, we aren't done. That lady needs the wizard's staff, seen it?"

Raiden Bartok |

Ruined....what? Raiden looks into the used bedpan and kind of figures it out. Aw man, that would have been a good joke! He thinks back to where the dwarf asked them not to go...

Uriah Lewis |

Uriah just kinda stands there muttering "Its not fair" and "This isn't the way its supposed to be..."

Sashah |

Sashah pulls out some notes on the way back and is absorbed in them by the time he is standing in the doorway.

Greycastle |

”Wizard’s Staff? You mean tha ghost wizard had a staff? We ain’t seen one here on our side. What Lady you are you talkin about? Hope you don mean tha demon witch tha lays beyond, cause you may’ve been fooled.” There is some gruff chuckling from the next room.
Looking into the room, Anton sees a large stone table and stone chairs to match. The room however is void of anyone though the voices are obviously coming from
This room.
The woman is eyeing Ravvek like a cat would a wounded bird. Assured of her victory and wanting to play with her food. She continues her game almost purring as she further doffs his armor.
3 rnds, Ive introduced a round about for the party if they recognize it, there is still time for them to come to Ravvek’s aid. I’m just trying to add some suspense to it for you.

Ravvek the Avenger |

I am loving this. When I ran this, the deep gnome fighter just planted one on her! Meanwhile the meta-gaming paladin was, no way, she's a succubus or something!
The deep gnome player, after making his Con save, was like, Tick that one off the list.
He has gone on to kiss a sea hag, be ridden by a night hag, and a million other things, until being killed by the Otyugh in the Tomb of the Nine Gods. (He could have beat it if he had just remembered his riposte maneuver!)
Gods, I love this game!

Scramsax |

Confused, Scram suddenly nods in understanding "Ah, I get it. What, she break your heart? You probably just didn't appreciate her---" he trails off and does a double take "S++*! Demon?!" scrambling to get back.
I suppose he'd triple move using double dashes back with swords drawn at this point.

Myastan Zayless |

"That can't be good." Zayless follows after Scram full tilt.

Anton Jiang |

Anton curses and leaps into action, racing back toward Rav.
With a 40 ft speed he can get back to the door and still have a bit of movement left. Anton isn’t a brute force guy, so bashing the door probably won’t cut it... so Anton punches through the door, with a flurry of blows.
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 bludgeoning
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 bludgeoning
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 bludgeoning

Scramsax |

Scram had been hastily riffling through his burglar's sack, having just found the perfect pick. Noticing Anton in furious action he held the little metallic bit there dumbly, his left eyebrow twitching.

Greycastle |

map still covered. I’ll update it tonight but it’s rough 95ft for Anton and about 85ft for Scram to make it back to the door. Even a triple move for Scram is not enough. If Anton spends a Kai point, he could make it but the door is going to be locked so he would still be stopped by the door. Does Anton spend the Kai point?
Everyone with the exception of Sashah and Uriah bolt for the library. Sashah looking for his notes on demons and Uriah too wrapped up in his lament to comprehend what the dwarf’s words meant to cause the others into action. After a few seconds even his eyes widen in suprise as it dawns on him. He knew there must be some reason that his rakish good looks had not been the target of what he knew now was a demon witch. It explained soooo much.
Sashah with a ”Hhrrrmmmm ahah!” looks up from his pouches pulling forth the particular he book he was searching for. Uriah and Sashah then follow the others. ”We’ll be back!” Uriah calls to the dwarves.
Only Ravvek’s leather breaches and boots remain intact as the woman kneels to help the bare chested Paladin out of the rest the of his armor.
2rnds remain

Uriah begins laughing at the irony of it all!
The Paladin, seduces the maiden, who turns out to be a demon! Oh gods! That's the best premise for a song I've ever heard. If I didn't live through it, I'd say it was contrived.
His mood restored. Uriah draws his rapier and prepares for battle.
Come on lads! Lord Ravvek of the Unbound Shirt requires our assistance!

Uriah Lewis |

Seriously though, it really should be Uriah about to get his soul sucked out of his...chest. I missed posting because of some personal issues and Ravvek took the lead in this encounter. It turned out hilarious enough.

Scramsax |

As Anton punches the door in the face and head, Scram catches up flipping his crowbar into hand and quickly thrusts it into the crack, trying to pry it open...
Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Strength, Crowbar Advantage: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Myastan Zayless |

Zayless continues to run full tilt toward the not so chaste comrade.

Scramsax |

Pulling the crowbar as hard as he can, Scrams little neck veins bulge and he shouts "*grunt grunt grunt* Avenger! Melora's watching! *grunt heave* Cover your crack!"

Ravvek the Avenger |

Ravvek cocks his head, Did you hear something, my love?
XD Gaddamn, Scram! I am so glad that I wasn't drinking anything!
