Vaneros throws another bolt of energy towards the bald man, not wanting to harm, but distract him. The blast strikes the necromancer but doesn't seem to do any real physical damage.

Keaton runs toward the raised area Molok just dashed up.

Kenna violently convulses on the ground, blood now oozing from her nose and mouth.

Cade a little woozy from the effects of the combat picks up his staff and gets to his feet.

Ember half smiles at Cade's quip but just as she's about to reply she get pummelled by the magic missiles. She groans instead, scoops up her axe and keeps heading for the bench.

Narnel dislodges his staff and moves as close as he can to the retreating enemy, confident that he will eventually catch him, if no one else does.

The necromancer looks at Molok and laughs "Foolish stone man. How can you catch what you cannot see? " as he does some more arcane gestures a ghostly skeletal hand appears by Molok and reaches out to grab him but Molok manages to dodge the hand as it vanishes. The necromancer then says a arcane word and waves his hand and his body is covered in a silvery mist and he vanishes from sight.

Molok calls upon his inner reserves and shrugs off part of the injury caused by the earlier missiles and continues to rush the necromancer. As he gets close he raises his sword up and slices down hard, trying to bisect the evil wizard, if he was still there but just invisible. His sword however slashes through nothing. The necromancer is not there.

No further sign of the necromancer can be seen.

Seeing no enemy, Molok takes a moment to drink his healing potion to better prepare for the coming battle. He can here footsteps ahead around the corner getting fainter with every step. The necromancer was fast moving away from their current position.

Ok, but give me a second. I think these stairs lead to that other passage. Just want to see.

Keaton will quickly climb the stairs on the right wall and check if tthey connect to that passage. He will take a light stone with him.

Keaton climbs the natural stone stairs. Upon arriving at the top he finds a peep hole in the wall with a lever beside it jutting out of the wall. Trying to peer through the hole he sees nothing but darkness. His stone just doesn't produce enough light through the hole when he presses his eye to it to see what is on the other side.

Not sue what to do, and having been given conflicting orders, Molok returns to the group at the necromancer's stone table, but keeps his wary eyes on the exit to the north.

Keaton will find something small enough to place through the peep hole and cast light on it, then push it through. After taking a peek he will cast light back on the current stone with the enchantment.

"I don't have a potion on me. Let's get back to the other room and see if we can make it out of the cave without further violence," Vaneros says while Narnel picks up Kenna.

He gestures the others to follow him and wants to lead them back to the room they came from and then out of the cave. Seeing that Keaton is still occupied, he calls out to him: "Anything interesting up there? I think we should get away from here, fast."

Everyone prepares to leave and seem to be waiting on Keaton to finish his investigation of the peephole and lever.

Keaton finds a small pebble and cast his light spell on it and pushes it through the hole. It drops to the floor on the other side and Keaton again places his eye to the hole. On the other side is a small cavern with two closed iron chests resting on the floor.

Ember says, heading back to the east to the first stone bench she puts a foot against the side and pulls at the axe. It comes free and after checking the edge she sticks the handle back through her belt and rejoins the others

Did that lever look like it opens a secret door, or passage through to the area with the chests?

If no one comes:

Keaton recasts light on his stone in hand and returns to the group.

Hey there is two chests beyond that wall that connect with the other hallway. There is also a lever, not sure if it opens up the passage. If it is this creeps source of money we should take it with us. He may run and finance his operations elsewhere. I can cast my floating disk and we can just leave with both chests. But I just do not think it would be wise to let this madman keep his resources.

Cade climbs the stairs and joins Keaton and peers through the hole at the two chest.

Seeing Cade had climbed the stairs to Keaton's position, he sat Kenna down as he waited instead of keeping her draped over his shoulder.

The others waited while a plan of action was formed.

Keaton lets Cade have the space against the wall with the peephole and the lever. Cade looks through the hole and around the lever for any tripwires or anything that may be out of place but can find nothing. He settles his eye against the hole and rest his left hand upon the lever. With one last breath he holds it in as he pulls the lever. The sound of creaking iron can be heard from above and then a cascade of rocks fall from somewhere above the chest and land on and around the iron chest in the smaller chamber filling it with dust and debris.

It was a good thing one was not standing in that chamber when the lever was pulled.

I am going to move this along since it seems we have stagnated a little.

Everyone gathers up their belongings and makes haste for the exit, and fresh air. Once outside in the sunlight with a cool breeze blowing they stop at the mule that was tied up outside and take stock of what just happened.

Kenna will be Unconscious: 1d4 ⇒ 3 hours.

You can all benefit from a short rest, just let me know what you are getting back and if you are burning hitdice then go ahead and roll them. Kenna will not benefit from a short rest until she wakes up and then takes at least an hour after. Let me know how you are going to proceed.
