Gandal here, I'll use this avatar as DM alias. (in case someone is wondering, both Gandal and Ankoku Daishogun are names of villains from the sagas of Gou Nagai, in the specific Ufo Robot Grendizer and Great Mazinger)
For who hasn't yet expanded his/her background i'ld require to have more details on the final capture of the PC, otherwise i'll come up with something, need it for the post that will put everyone in the same dungeon at the beginning of the game.
Remember that there isn't yet a real war with entire armies, only many riots and skirmishes between more or less organized mobs or bandit groups and imperial units sent to soothe them.
Everything started with the assasination of a Dunmer ambassador and unconfirmed voices blamed the argonian race.
After the initial small revolts from members of both races, major cities strengthen borders controls and sent out more troops (sailors from Anvil,mages/scouts/soldiers from The Imperial City,Chorrol,Kvatch,Cheydinal and Skingrad,soldiers/barbarians from Bruma)
Up to you.

Posting this here so I don't forget his stats. Going to use the Avatar as my character.
Background: Birard was born the third child of a local merchant. With no chance of taking over the company, he found other pursuits in the Order of Arkay. After quickly rising through the ranks from Initiate to full Cleric, he has found himself being assigned to the Empire during the riots.
While assisting with a company to quell the riots in the warfs, they were suddendly overwhelmed. Birard attempted to support the troops but there were too many rioters resulting in him being knocked out.

Hi all, sorry was out all day, looking forwrd to the game.
So i'm picking another language to replace Imperial, right?
Finalising my background, character sheet and traits at the moment.
Edit: Can we get the IC thread up asap, so I can just put an ooc post to dot it? It means it will show up in my campaigns as I run/play PbP almost exclusively through my campaigns tab at the moment (too many to keep track of otherwise)

Spells are done and on my profile. I added an archetype (Sea Witch), so I don't have a hex yet. I get wild empathy with sea creatures instead.

Maybe i'm wrong, but from Gabrielle stats i reckon :
8 -212 +2
14 +5
18 (16) +10
12 (10) 0
10 0
so the tot is 15. You had 20 pnt buy.

Oh. I originally had 20 Int and 8 Cha, and then I changed it to 18 and 10 after you brought it up. I forgot that I got more points from dropping Int than I spent raising Cha.
I just spent the extra 5 points to bring Str to 10 and Dex to 14. My profile has been updated.

Gandal, do you have any problems with me changing my Healing domain to the Resoration Subdomain? It seems to make more sense for my support role mentality
Associated Domain: Healing.
Replacement Power: The following granted power replaces the rebuke death power of the Healing domain.
Restorative Touch (Su): You can touch a creature, letting the healing power of your deity flow through you to relieve the creature of a minor condition. Your touch can remove the dazed, fatigued, shaken, sickened, or staggered condition. You choose which condition is removed. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Replacement Domain Spells: 2nd—remove disease, 4th—neutralize poison, 5th—break enchantment.

Yes looks like mpre appropriate, change it if you want.

Gameplay thread is up for dotting purpose only. Waiting for more details on the player's part.

Zesaste Torath |

Added a paragraph to Zesaste's background and his trait. He was fighting for the Dunmer mercenaries when his 'clever' use of an enlarge person spell made him an easy target for javelins hurled at him by Argonians; promptly taking him out of the fight.

Gandal |

Speaking of details, just rememberd the races are lacking info on height and weight. Not going to rewrite everything based on the PF races.
Based on info from the wiki:
Imperials are standard humans
Bretons are shorter humans
Redguards are taller than imperials but not so heavier
Nords are the tallest and heaviest of humans
Altmer are the tallest elven race, hight and weight about standard PF elves
Dunmer are more or less like imperials
Bosmer are the shortest elven race, but not so lighter (in game graphics shows bosmer males almost like dwarves, but females are like all other elves or humans)
Argonians should be slightly taller but lighter than imperials
Khajiit are about imperials height but somewhat lighter
Orc are about redguard's height but nord's weight

Am going to post the official intro for the game.
I still have to decide some details like what part of the years, months, day or the exact location of the dungeon, but doesn't really matter at the moment, since you will spend some time yet underground, and don't know how long you had been there :)
Also i used some dark, mature content to create the right mood for the PCs, hope i offended no one.
It should be all there, you can start interaction/introduction IC dialogue after reading, it won't be long before breaking free of course.
But let me know if someone needs more details to start posting IC

This profile had the info of a Second Darkness campaign i started and had to drop because of RL. Updated my profile with my current PCs and XP for each. As i said i'll use the fast xp track.
As for my RL schedule, i should be able to provide a daily rate of posts for about another month, but the closer to Xmas, the busier i'll be.

I think that's my favorite part, as well as the inventory organization and two-handed options. I enjoy that the screen is far less cluttered as well. My (spoiled) hubby found a hardbound game guide at the local Fred Meyer yesterday while we were shopping and that's been a fun walk-through for us.

![]() |

Skyrim's been fun. I got the guide, but the soft cover, not the hard cover. Fortunately, I finished Rage the week before, so basically got the guide for free by turning in Rage.
BTW, found a neat little thing about the map that came with the game. If look on it, there are [X] marked on there for the Standing Stones. I picked up the Steed one because it gives you +100lbs carrying capacity and Hvy armor doesn't slow you down.

Gandal |

I still have to buy a steed, but am really just starting the game, since this is the first full day at home since getting the game. Bought the guide on Amazon, since it isn't going to be released in my country :( so waiting for it to deliver.
I'm playing as a female bosmer fighter/rogue/scout.

TClifford wrote:I picked up the Steed one because it gives you +100lbs carrying capacity and Hvy armor doesn't slow you down.I need to find that one. I don't use heavy armor, but the +100 lb carrying capacity is worth it by itself.
If I remember right, it is the [x] that is due west of Dawnstar.

Purplefixer |

I'm playing a Redguard Archer/Assassin, specializing in alchemy, stealth, illusion, and light-blades and armor. Dual wielding superior elven daggers as we speak. Joined the Companions, think I'm going to let Ulfric and the Empire sort out their own dang affairs and just focus on helping -people-.
This go through.
The new dual-casting and two-spell/two-hand mechanics are *very* cool, and make me seriously want to roll a Mer and play with the new spellcasting.... Not that plinking bandits for +60% x2 damage with a silent, poison, ranged weapon isn't -highly- entertaining. Especially when there's a group of them and I use frenzy poison.
Dance puppets, dance!

Gandal |

I encoutered a nasty graphyc bug, and it is ruining a lot my fun :(
in fact am not playing as much as i would like. The arrows striking my bosmer figther/rogue don't disappear, they keep showing in the PC's body after she gained several level, changed areas a lot of times, equipped different armor pieces and so on.
It isn't a serious problem, the game still runs, but it shouldn't be happening.
I've contacted the technical support service, waiting for an answer.
Or i probably have to wait for the first patches, the game has just been released after all.
