Leveling up questions:
Hit points:
Roll? Full? (+6 and +10) Half rounded down (+3 and +5)? Half rounded up (+4 and +6)
Right now I went with full because of the 2 person party, but can change that easily

Just a note:
Even though the map doesn't go that far, Marguerite used a double move to be sure she was as far from the skeletons as possible. She's really, really hoping that they don't want to follow her outside the crypt.

Thanks for the assist. Could you critique how we handled that scene?
The only thing I'm seeing that might have made a difference is Anton staying at the entrance rather than getting behind the skeletons.
The choice of Hand Of The Apprentice (+5) instead of Disrupt Undead (+2) for a +3 difference seems smart. They both do 1d6 damage.

Also, trying to figure out everyone's current status
Anton started the 2nd encounter with 12/15 hp.
He takes 4 dmg now at 8/15 hp
Then he takes 14 damage. Now at -6
Then he fails a Fort Save for 1 more damage. Now at -7
Then he makes his save which stops further damage, leaving him at -7
But, he's stabilized, so his condition is "disabled", correct?
Maguerite started 2nd encounter with 23/24 hp.
She takes 4 dmg. and is at 19 hp.
Then she takes 12 dmg and is at 7 hp
Then she takes no damage and is still at 7 hp.
And then she takes one more set of hits for another 12 dmg which would leave her at -5 hp, if I've done this correctly.
(I think I missed a hit point update in my profile earlier this week.)
So Marguerite is unconscious?
Anton has stabilized, so he is conscious and able to use the wand on Marguerite?

Anton Lukyanenko |

I don't think Anton can use the wand at all, that was why he handed it over Marguerite.
I thought going negative on hit points rendered one dead. I also thought that "stable" meant only that I was no longer bleeding out and certainly not that I was standing & mobile - that was why I took so long to take a turn while I was stable didn't think there was anything I could do so my turn was just a pass.
In hindsight, sending Anton into the crypt was not a good move. With one or two people in the party it probably would've worked, though Anton probably would still have gotten pretty banged up.

Sorry busy weekend.
The only thing that made the fight harder than it should have been was Anton moving deeper into the room. I was trying to show that the skeletons wouldn't enter the sun so you had an easy out, but it obviously didn't work.
As for dying, unconscious, dead:
At 0 hp you are disabled - you can take a move action without penalty, but any standard or other strenuous action makes you lose 1 hp and go to -1.
At -1 hp to - Constitution Score hp you are generally unconscious, some things races/feats can stay conscious though. You are also either stable or bleeding out. If you are bleeding out you lose 1 hp per turn. If you are stable you will eventually regain consciousness if you roll a good enough fort save.
You die at a number of negative hp equal to your constitution score.
I obviously did the math wrong and thought Marguerite would still be at 5 hp. Lets pick up the game with Marguerite at 5 hp and Anton unconscious at -7 hp.
Let me know if you've got more questions about anything.

Marguerite DuBois |

Marguerite is at 5/24 hp; Anton is at 1/15; there are 5 charges left in the wand, which, with average* dice rolls, will give us 25 points; we need 33 hp between us just to get back to full hp.
*And the AI behind these dice hates me

Marguerite DuBois |

I'm assuming that the rooms further in the crypt are totally dark, and Marguerite's low-light vision won't be any use unless we also have a functioning light source, correct?

Having just posted in gameplay, I have now read a PM from CrystalSeas.
It is probably best that we declare the game at an end and free you two up to more easily try other games.
I am sorry I haven't been able to get to this game as often as expected. I was apparently at my capacity before starting it, which is good to know for the future even though it isn't much consolation for the both of you.
I have enjoyed having the two of you as players and wish you luck in finding more games.
