Allister blushes at Brezik's joke, and is slightly embarrassed that so much has come from his simple offering of a ring to his friend. 'I just thought it would look pretty on her, I didn't think it would mean kissing and marriage. I should have kept it for myself.'
He stands in awe and watches as the Halfling sends a barrage of frost rays at the blue fungus. It is quite a show, the glowing white-blue beams, the crackling electricity, the electric blue fungus fur. The light shines in his twinkling eyes.
"Get it, Qina! Freeze those blue walls!"

GM Fez |

With a few minutes work the walls are no longer blue, instead they are grey and crackly. Just touching some of the fungus causes it to flake off and splash into the water. You look through the room, but don't find anything of particular value, either on the corpses or in the water itself.
Investigating the next room, a large chamber is partially flooded, with the south end just barely rising out of the stagnant water. A large wheel is set into the floor of the dry area, attached to chains that rise up into the ceiling. A thick layer of slick, black mold covers the carvings on the walls of this chamber.
As with the last room, the water is about a foot deep in this one and just as murky. Qina counts all the blue tiles as difficult terrain, everyone adds 2 to the DC for Acrobatics checks in the room.

Gad’larr Fireblood |

Rubbing his stubbled chin in thought, Gad points to the other side of the new room.
"So we need to turn the wheel then, right? Any volunteers besides me?"

![]() |

"Oooh, I will!"
Allister is eager to help and loves to turn wheels and pull levers.

Belathorian Twice Born |

Can't beat that roll!
Belathorian moves cautiously into the room (S45) testing his step with the haft of his scythe.
"Something is not right here, too quiet...
He looks to the ceiling, check in for hidden dangers

Gad’larr Fireblood |

"Let's let Brezik check this out first, and make sure its not deadly somehow. How are your engineering skills Brezik?
What do you think of the room? Is it dangerous?"

GM Fez |

Bel and Brezik advance into the room, testing the waters. Bel quickly discovers a very deep pit in the side of the room and stops Brezik from walking straight into it. As they regain their senses the sound of splashing water alerts everyone to company, in this case six skeletons rising up and bearing weaponry similar to those from the front entrance.

Gad'larr and Allister handily rip apart skeletons using their swords. Brezik's hammer only manages to skip off of a shoulder bone before splashing down by the wheel on the other side of the room. The remaining skeletons move to attack.

Qina Coldfire |

As Gad slipped beneath the surface of the water, Qina gasped. She had not cast her protection spell on him, and she began to fear the worst. Although given her current lack of strength, there was very little she could think of.
