Eddie climbs out of the pool and shakes the water off like a dog. He then throws the keys in his pack, gets dressed and proceeds on with the rest of the group, hammer drawn. Mmmph, too many down there to keep this up I agree lets come back at a different time.

Steve successfully makes his way over to the blue door, checks the door for magic, and then opens it hearing a loud clicking sound as the door turns....

But nothing happens.

And the door opens.

What he sees inside is row upon row of statues of the hero Kassen wielding swords and shields flanking either side of a narrow pathway every 10 feet of this corridor.

Appraise DC 11 or Perception DC 18:

The swords on the statues are actually all covered in some sort of padding or wrapping that is typically used in museums to protect delicate stonework.

Savannah as she leads the way down the hall feels the telltale *CHUNK* of her having stepped on a pressure plate.

The statues all swing their swords all colliding with mainly her and Chorlo.

Each gets thoroughly bopped by the swords, though thanks to them being covered in padding it doesn't really do too much to either of them.

But now getting to the other end of the hall presents itself as a bit of a challenge. You're going to have to hurdle each set of swords unless you can reset the statues somehow.

Anyone who cant pass a 10 on a take 10 on Acrobatics needs to roll me 5 sets of acrobatics checks, each failure dealing a point of nonlethal

Chorlo takes one of the padded sword in the shoulder, "Ooof. Do you think someone came here and did this to the statues so they wouldn't kill anyone?" Chorlo jumps back away from the statues.

I'll hold off on the acrobatics checks until we see how Chorlo does.

Chorlo looks around and spots a little panel at the base of the first statue and on the inside is a set of cranks and levels and a smiley face on the inside of the door.

He can reset it easily enough, but reseting it and rigging it so it won't go off again will be a little tougher. Disable Device please

As Savannah inspects the padding, it seems most of it IS quite recently added and she looks at the the last pair of statues in the hall and sees padding and some twine at the base of the statue, almost as though the work was left unfinished for some reason.

Steeping somewhat gingerly, the group is able to make its way down the hall without incident until Eddie just carelessly steps on the pressure plate.

To Chorlo's relief, his rigging stuck however and the trap doesn't go off.

As Savannah continues to lead the way, she opens the next door.

Inside is a large chamber, which features a pair of staircases going down toward a large wooden statues holding two large wooden shields, one labeled FAMILY and the other COMMUNITY.

Chorlo didn't notice at first ,but there is a small door at the bottom of steps in one of the cubbies.

Savannah and Lucas notice nothing particularly peculiar about the lowered area and proceed to the bottom.

Savannah however, quickly finds that things aren't all peace here.

Just as she and Lucas reach the bottom, the statue magically animates and moves from its pedastal, causing the steps they just exited to retract and become a smooth, waxed incline slide.

Eddie attempts a running jumping attack on the statue which connects square with his hammer. Unfortunately, it looks like big hammers aren't as effective on wood as you might have hoped.

He manages to break his fall, but not land on his feet.

The golem turns to Eddie, as he clearly got its attention with that blow and pounds on his prone body first with FAMILY and then with COMMUNITY.
