Justin locks eyes with one of the Khaasta sitting over in the corner. The lizard being is covered in what looks like dragon skin armor. Justin suddenly has a memory of a shaman dressed in bones that looked an awful lot like this particular Khaasta. The Khaasta grunts suddenly narrow eyes widening. He bellows, and rises up quickly, knocking his chair over
“YOOOOOOOOOU!!!!” He roars
Justin Case
ROFLMAO! I never know what to expect from Karrin. And she has never disappointed me yet! ;P
Justin shrugs, trying valiantly to tone his smug-smirk down from 'blindingly pi$$i#g people off' to 'merely annoying overconfidence'.
"What can I say? It's a gift. And a curse. When your blessed with an over-abundance of Wit, Charm and Intelligence it's your duty, no, your responsibility, to share it with the Planes. And to tweak the noses of those who are too big for their britches."
Justin picks up another spoonful of Gumbo and blows on it.
"Sadly, not everyone appreciates the burden of responsibility I'm forced to bear. Said Khassta bellowing from the back of the room is case-in-point."
Merle Barer

Merle looks up long enough from her bowl to mutter "Clearly not talking about himself then typicaggrrpph." before Seph shoves her face into the chowder again
Hamar of the Hyena Tribe
Last damn post got eaten.
Hamar stands behind the Drow observing the room, he orders some sort of meat on a stick that he can eat and keep watch.
Perception 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (11) + 19 = 30
As the lizard man thing begins to bellow and point at the Wizard, Hamar places his hands on the hilts of his blades dropping the half-eaten meal on the floor.
Dungeon Monkey
Hamar sees the bartender getting a large crossbow ready, aiming it at the party
“No fighting! Take it outside!”
The dragonskin-clad Khaasta nods and points a finger at Karrin.
“You killed my broodmates with that accursed axe, devilborn! I will see it bathed in your blood!”
Ferissirion growls suddenly. The two pet alligators under the lizardfolk table stop tussling and stare over
The Khaasta party walks out on the porch and down the stairs
Hamar of the Hyena Tribe
"Should we just wait here and let the barkeep shoot them? I bet they cannot keep themselves calm.
Not that I mind a fight but I've only eaten half of my dinner..."
Justin Case
Justin sighs into his soup. The shovels another large spoonful into his mouth before starting to rise himself. He gives the Drow guides a wan smile.
"Sorry. Old business. Some folk just can't keep from taking business personally."
Justin claps Hamar on the shoulder. "Sorry. Your right, but we dont need to antagonize any of these fine folk. We can finish our dinner after."
"I don't know WHY they're so upset,..." Justin says clearly enough to be heard by everyone who is trying hard to look like they aren't listening. He gestures dramatically as he continues,...
",... We only burnt down HALF the Demiplane. We left the rest alone. Mostly." And follows Karrin towards the door.
Hamar of the Hyena Tribe
Hamar shrugs and follow outside as well, stepping in front of Justin as he does so.
Dungeon Monkey
The party descends and follows the Khaasta out to the back of the Gator Inn. There is a swampy area, with odd primitive cyclad trees. The air hums with insects, and the 'daylight' is gone. Mosterous croaks can be heard out on the nearby swamp. The swamp water borders both sides of this narrow jut of land, bordered by a stretch of stinking black mud

Hamar of the Hyena Tribe
Agree with Justin. Does it seem that the ground around will hamper movement?
Justin Case
As Karrin grows in size, the dino-skin-clad Khaasta also grows, transforming into a huge tyrannosaurus rex made of fire. His brawnier lieutenants flank him, and the run-of-the-mill Khaasta start moving to the left, using the large bushes for cover
Roll initiative!
"Oh. I am SOOOO looking forward to this,..." Justin drawls slowly. His voice dripping with so much sarcasm that you glance over, half expecting to see him standing in a puddle.
Init Roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
"Merle? You still got that old 'Grease the Ground' spell handy? Drop it or anything else on the BIG guys before they get close to the others! Try to keep them off balance." Justin says in a calm, if rushed voice. The wizards own fingers are already moving, visibly gathering magical energy.
"I'll try to take out the support squad, AND see if I can't call for reinforcements while I'm at it,..." he adds with a smirk.
Waiting for the INIT order, or shall I go ahead and post action? :)
EDIT- I'll just post. :) PLAN is to drop my mega-fireball-of-DOOM at Location T15. By my count that SHOULD cover all of the group on the right, and the lowest of the upper group, and stop just shy of singing Hamar's eyebrows. :) IF my count is off, then location is T16, should still cover same bad guys?
Justin gathers energy, draws a fiery glyph in front of him with his new 'blasting rod', and his ring and medallion-necklace glimmer with the same reddish glow as the fiery glyph,...
"FUEGO! EXPLOSIVESS! MAXIMUS!" And sends a ball of fire nearly as large as his head screaming off towards the nearest incoming Kaashta,...
'The Big Boom', with all bonuses (but not using charges from fire ring, just the +1CL) Intensified, = 15D6 fireball, EMPOWERED by amulet, Etc etc,
15d6 + 6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 4, 2, 4, 5, 3, 6, 6, 4, 4, 4, 5, 2) + 6 + 1 + (6) = 71
+35 pts for EMPOWERED= 106 fire dmg total
"There. THAT should get their attention down at the camp." Justin says smugly,...

EDIT: I forgot you were flat footed, so both of those 13s hit as well. So a DC 23 concentration check

The Fiery dinosaur waggles the smallish arms and roars. A column of flame arcs down from the dark sky, touching down in a fiery tornado laced with black energy between Karrin and Hamar The smell of rotted eggs fills the air

There is a sudden screech and a large reptilian form arcs out of the sky. It belches forth a sizzling ball of flame from its mouth which explodes directly over Justin
This breath weapon is a fireball. 20’ radius. I believe if is centered on Justin it will get everyone. DC 16 Reflex for 1/2

Justins plan being a pretty good one (Although she would never admit it to his face) she will attempt to grease the big Khassta
Where do you want to set it? Farthest point can be 50’ from your position. That does putyou in range of the fire dinosaur

"Um, OW?! WHAT the heck was watchout!" Justin cries as the fireball is breathed over the group. He turns and his coat catches most of the fireball blast. Which still singes him, but that pain is ignorable next to the burning sensation of the Flame Strike that preceded it.
Justin nods his thanks to Mel as the cleric swiftly releases a surge of healing over the group.
"Stupid lizards are stealing MY punch lines!" Justin Grumbles.
The wizard eyes the flying lizard that joined the fray.
"They are taking this WAY to personally."

“What? I’m being practical. It’s pathetic watching you count out greens at the apothecary for fresh bat guano”

"Thanks Memnon. Dangers of getting stuck in a rut. Forget to use the REALLY dangerous weapon. My Brain. I need options for the flaming dino-guy. IF we cant drag him to the water how can we extinguish him? Dispel Magic?"
Justin watches Karrin land a mighty swing on the big dino-guy.

Ouch
The flaming creature bellows as Ferissirion cleaves deeply into it. It’s flames seem to dim from yellow to deep red as Ferissirion’s blade touches them. The one lone Khaasta behind it runs up and slaps it. It’s flames spring up again, though not as bright as before

“That looks like either a wild shape or some sort of polymorphic magic. Elemental Form of the Second Order might do it. I’m betting wild shape. If so, a dispel magic won’t do any good. It’s a supernatural ability. If you have ice magic in your noggin nows the time to unleash it”
