Parnell Ludington |
At the words of the young warpriest, Parnell snaps out of his heightened state.
"Huh! What? Oh! You're right, Sierra. But I am going to going to tell the Church. Maybe get a horse. I don't know."
Feeling slightly disarmed by Sierra's beauty, Parnell smiles and asks, "Coming?" With that, the paladin contines to rush back to the Church to report his findings.

To the office.
Liek smiles upon seeing the office, something he can understand. He begins his examination telling people not to disturb the evidence.

There's a lot of little things you fine but none of it seems relevant or have any importance. What you do find that is important however is two sets of information. The first that you come across is what Sierra touched on earlier when looking for the key that open the cage for the little girl. This was Maps of underground caves or some type of structure but the location is unknown.
The second bit of information seems a little obscured, it seems cryptic but with your investigational skills you are able to decipher that there is someone of great importance in Asmerade who might relate to a prophecy. The information goes on 2 roughly talk about taking person or killing this person something about a sacrifice. It was in this area that you could not quite grasp if this is a good thing or bad thing.
As you continue to dig through the paperwork you do find a rough sketch of a person you have never seen before however something about it seems familiar.
"Poki" Tipene |
Tipene looks at everyone, one at a time, trying to find out why the sketch rings a bell.
-Don't you guys find this one familiar? I... wonder if it's the one the prophecy speaks about...
After scrutinizing the ones around, he tries to find ties with people he knows... someone in the church, maybe?

I should really try to find out who she is, but I also have more information.
Like the true detective he is, Liek goes about explaining what he uncovered, giving the information he gathered in as much detail as he can. This profecy bothers me. I cannot for the life of me figure out if what it speaks of is good or bad.
Katt Z'Ress |
Tipene though you feel a desire to know this girl, you do not feel overwhelmed.
Liek you on the other hand feel as if she is the most important thing to discover. But you also know through investigation the prophecy somehow ties to this girl.
Parnell if you have left the building then find yourself alone if Sierra has not left with you. And you stand at the boarder of town attempting to figure out where this thing has gone. The aura is faint as it seems to be moving faster. Heading in a direction that you came from.
"Poki" Tipene |
-Mmmhh... Interesting...
Tipene shakes his head, realising the answer to his wonderings might only come at a later time, when not sought after.
-Alright, shall we move on?
Katt Z'Ress |
Parnell it takes you a few minutes to arrive back at the church. A place that is usually peaceful seems to be suddenly placed on High Alert. When you begin to look around for someone of rank or importance you are unable to find them in the open areas. If you question anyone you are told they are in close door meetings at this time.
You can Roll a Diplomacy check or Intimidation or Persuasion anyone of these could get you to see someone of importance.
Katt Z'Ress |
A young lad who would remind you maybe of yourself when you were a squire is the one you find yourself speaking with. "You were one of the ones at the Gate this year? You say a great evil has been unleashed...that must mean that you were the group that they are all whispering about. Follow me."
You follow the boy down a hall, up a set of stairs, down another hall, one left turn, and then down the hall to a door that is significantly larger than all others on this floor. The carvings on the door, the size of the door all point to someone of authority must rest on the other side of it.
The boy knocks on the door several times and waits. Even when it might seem like eternity only a handful of seconds had actually past. The large door cracks open and just as the boy is about to be scolded for disturbing the meeting, a set of eyes looks over the boy's head and sees you standing there.
She cracks the door more and steps out of the room closing the door quietly behind her. You recognize the woman as the one who spoke with your group at the Gate. She tells the boy to run along waiting for him to get to the end of the hall before she speaks with you privately.
"I am glad to see that you have returned safely, what news do you have?" As she listens to you, you will observe she remains calm, the only reaction you can see on her features is her lips twitch ever so slightly. [b] "I see, yes, then I have something I need you to do post haste. Return to your allies, fetch them, come back here to this very room as quickly as possible. Bring anything you have found with you. We have not much time I fear so do Hurry!" With that she gives you a short nod and returns to the room.
Parnell Ludington |
Parnell calmly shut the door behind him, then the young paladin's scalemail clangs loudly as Parnell runs as fast as his armored body will allow back to the pentagram house to gather his comrades.
Katt Z'Ress |
Parnell arrives before everyone else, sweat runs down his face and he is nearly out of breath. He doesn't take the time to slow down when he burst through the door swinging it open with a loud crash. Nor does he attempt to be quiet when going through the building seeking his comrade in arms.
Thus Liek, Seirra, Tipene, and Zel, you all hear the ruckus of a Paladin on the first floor of the building. ((Liek and Seirra were both last on the first floor, while Zel and Tipene were on the Second Floor))
Parnell Ludington |
"Everyone!" exclaims the paladin. "we are all needed at The Church immediately. Bring all relative materials concerning the children and the pentagram! Hurry! We haven't a moment to lose!"
Parnell Ludington |
Stopping momentarily at the brawler, Parnell exclaims, "All of this", moving his hands and arms to indicate to the house environs, "may have something to DO with the Trials! Hurry! Let's go! Bring everything!"
