The arrow pierces the man's upper shoulder and apparently hits something very important as he crumbles.

Seeing the others break through the treeline as well the bandits begin to panic when one of the villagers charges the one that Arnesto had injured.

But before he gets there, the village leader pulls a sword and cuts him down before calling out, "Alright it seems like we finally drew some real heat on ourselves! This is going to be our last run at this!"

"If they want to sit in the trees and shoot at us that's fine, get inside, get anything valuable, kill every man you see, and grab the women!"

The bandits all disperse and begin to cut down any villagers they see and the townsfolk begin to scatter in blind panic.

Is this during initiative or just the set up scene?

Initiative has begun now.

" Well you heard them fellows, be ever so kind and slaughter them all. least before they get to the villagers and women. That would sort of give us a bad reputation. "

Arnesto loaded his weapon, " As for you Mister revealed leader. "

On his turn

Arnesto's face became somewhat serious as the bolt shot from his Crossbow at the Thug Leader.

El Crossbow: 1d100 ⇒ 11

Enten drops javelin and grips his spear, double moves towards enemy, Stand Tall

Enten shouts."Come bandits. Are you cowards to run and hide in huts from a farmer and halfbreed one at that."

Ttaur continues to move forward and he stomps the ground. A ripple of white light cascades at the bandits feet. Suddenly they find themselves sinking into mud.

The man looks down at his arm, now severed below the shoulder, "Wha..? Wha..? AHHHHhhhhh!" he screams as he falls to the ground clutching his wound.

El Bandini is alive just stunned and without his arm.

Rest of the party is up. Three bandits have yet to enter into buildings and are now caught in Ttaur's spell.

"Perhaps I won't miss this time." says Elige.

"Shall we spare the leader?"

Elige opens up with another Flame Lance against one of the now ensnared bandits yet to enter a house.

" No, he gets to die the worst. He ordered men to freely rape a pillage. Maybe none of them will survive the culling. Maybe if he could convince us otherwise that he is worth it? "

Arnesto looked fierce. " We'll use one of the mooks. And my word Elige you truly suck. "

"I must regretfully agree Arnesto, it seems the study is still more my home than the battlefield. I promise you my companions I will find a way to pull my weight."

Loki looks to Elite in excitement and nods with Arnesto's comment, "no, he dies horribly".

Loki laughs clearly both impressed and amused. "there will be a time and place I will need help, but this is also gratefully welcomed Elige." another arrow is knocked as he awaits the bandits' next move from afar. "I look forward to seeing what else you can do."

I think we'll skip a bit ahead since this last bandit in the muddy field has no chance to be a threat by himself and he's just going to get ranged down.

The remaining bandits are going to quickly rally and take up residence within the town hall to make a stand against you all.

There are a total of 8 remaining, not including the head Thuggins whose fate is up to you to decide.

We'll assume because the bandits have taken up arms in the building that Initiative will become block ordered.

So the party is up, and the bandits will act afterwards. For those of you favoring range assume you are inside the building and thirty feet away from the bandits, those more melee focused are twenty feet away. The bandits are tightly packed and no further than a five foot from each other.

The party is up.

Beating the Thug leader's face in... repeatedly, Arnesto secures him for rigorous pain for a later time. Likely to be strung up and paraded around like a pinata for the people.

His face changed very little as enemies were cut down by his shots.

Yeh that's plenty of death to not bother rolling with.

The bandits fight to their last but to no avail, the ferocity of their opponents quickly shuffles them off the mortal coil.

Leaving only the fate of the head thuggins to be decided in my the group. Many of the towns people quickly gather after the screaming stops and thanks the group for coming to their aid.

Arnesto takes to the people greatly, allowing them to bask in his greatness. Never one not to express thanks for their recognition. Alas he informs them of a task that is needed to be done.

" Well, Well I have to say I was surprised they would fight to the last. The penalty for failure must have been quite harsh if death was a better alternative. That leaves us with the head thug I'm afraid. I wanted to gut him proper in front of the locals, but the Master did say we should bring at LEAST one back. Information and all that. "

Arnesto makes sure to go through the townspeople as well to gather information about the bandits. How long this had been happening, common thugs or any insignias.

As Arnesto strokes his ego, Ttaur begins moving the bodies outside, throwing them in a pile and looting them. Anything of immediate value he will stash in a small satchel at his side. The rest he will lay out in a few rows.

I would assume their armor.. if they even had that. Weapons were pretty standard.

The villagers thank you all for your contributions and praise you and the Night Wolves.

The villagers tell Arnesto that the bandits had been doing this for some time and seem surprised that the captured bandit by the name of Harles would be in league with them, as he just recently became the town's leader after the death of his father Abel who was the town's leader before that.

They admit they're unaware of any affiliations the bandits may have.

Ttaur finds a small pile of gold between all the men totaling to 53 gold, and the bandit known as Harles carries a fine quality looking rapier.
