Party is up.

-Posted with Wayfinder

Arnesto looks up disappointed that he would not be able to gather Revenge for Carl's insolence on either the man himself or Krenshaw for coming back. The Human sighed a great length. Especially as Beth deemed herself such to continue the fight. He looked to the Master.

" Mr. Galel, as you might know I am loath to hurt a pretty lady but if I must I can stomach the act. My inquiry here is simply has not this current situation shown the capability of most here. The obvious situation is such that Beth's group surrenders? There need be continue? "

Arnesto looked to Beth and her group's direction. " Or will you not Yield? And I have to shoot you? "

The Crossbowmen stepped back a few paces and expertly held his weapon ready for any other hostility to their group.

Attack: 1d100 ⇒ 32

Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Vasper thinks for a moment, "I'm afraid Arnesto is quite right, in your quest for vengeance for Milk the two groups of you have left the other relatively unscathed."

"For this reason, those among you of groups 2 and 3 are now allies. The other group muster be properly tested as well."

"Continue." Vasper finishes.

Arnesto sighed once more. " I see, well then. Elige do try not to be disappointing again. The targets are now much less fat than Carl, they are likely more agile. To the women here I shall try and make it as painless as possible. "

Ttaur slowly looks down at Beth. Shaking his head slightly. "Shame..."

Ttaur grasps his large sword and holds it high above his head. His earthen frame appearing statuesque. Then the sword, as if a bolt of lightning, moves at a blinding speed and slices into the floor at Beth's feet, electricity bouncing along the floor.

Deadly Greatsword: 1d100 ⇒ 22 Critical

Her head comes clean off as Ttaur severs it.

Immediately afterwards a bolt of lightning strikes Ttaur and his body begins to crackle and spark with electricity.

Loki and Wolfy are up.

-Posted with Wayfinder

1d100 ⇒ 93wolf's readied attack
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Loki's wolf walks over in front of him (kiddie corner also adjacent to Ttaur and Enten), and readies an attack should anyone approach it's master.

1d100 ⇒ 10ready to throw Beth's dagger at oncoming opponent within range
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Loki smirks sadistically now, "Ttaur?" He then places his daggers back in their sheathes turning back to Ttaur, "...you have... hrmm... here, lemme get that for you!" and pulls Beth's unneeded dagger out of his chest. "Whew!... That was close... He turns to the other group, "The dagger is okay!"

I doubt I could grab my bow from the adjacent square, did the above for flavor of my character. If not then that's fine.

Theo begins to move towards the party when Arnesto shoots him.

Massive Location: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Leg

Massive: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 Instadeath

The crossbow bolt somehow severs Theo's leg and he hits the ground bleeding out almost instantly.

"What the s&@%? Never seen a crossbow do that before." say Jordan.

"You some kind of oddball Wizard?"

***Updated Init Order***
Loki
Enten
Aszeera
Tandy
Jordan
Wolf Ghost
Arnesto
Ttaur
Elige

Enten is up.

Arnesto lowered his crossbow after the shot and raised a brow, " A Wizard? No, just good aim. Though I have been told I have magical hands Milady Jordan. It was simply sad it had to be on the business side rather than pleasure. Now, while I may have complications about harming you all, my compatriots here do not. "

He began to load another bolt, " I did promise it would be relatively painless. Maybe after this all we can make amends. "

Enten smirks a little at Arnesto's speech. Losing it when he says that we have no problem harming the others.
'I don't want to hurt them or let my team get hurt. Damn!'

Enten reaches behind him and pulls a javelin out.

"Forgive me, Ladies. The quicker we finish this the faster we can move on, revive the others, and get to know each other. Yes?"

'Hopefully get to know each other. Preferably not at the end of a weapon.'

Draw javelin, Throw at nearest enemy

1d100 ⇒ 5
1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Enten hits Jordan with his Javelin. 10 Damage

Dodge: 1d100 ⇒ 78

Jordan has awful Vigor

Save for Massive: 1d100 ⇒ 89

Failed.

Massive Location: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Massive: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Enten's Javelin hits Jordan in the leg and causes pretty severe looking damage.

Aszeera runs up on Enten and tries to hit him with her Longsword, on the way Loki throws his dagger at her.

Dodge: 1d100 ⇒ 20

But Aszeera dodges out of the way of not only the dagger but Loki's wolf's attack too.

Arriving at Enten she slashes at him with her Longsword.

Attack: 1d100 ⇒ 6 Crit

Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 x1.5 = 3 -.-

Apparently Aszeera is a god at hitting but can't actually hurt anything.

Enten's armor absorbs her attack however.

Tandy moves up next and tries to deal with Ttaur.

Attack: 1d100 ⇒ 89

But she misses.

Jordan isn't able to make it to melee due to the injury she received so she hobbles as far as she can before tossing an axe at Enten.

Axe: 1d100 ⇒ 100

But the wound makes her release awkward and the axe misses entirely.

"Forgive me miss Jordan."

Flame Lance!: 1d100 ⇒ 13

Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Massive Location: 1d6 ⇒ 2 Apparently everyone just loves chopping off legs around here.

Massive: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Save or Die: 1d100 ⇒ 90

Elige's spear of fire hits Jordan in her other leg and sheers it away, leaving her to die quickly.

Arnesto and Ttaur are still acting on this turn. But Loki and Enten have another turn available to use now as well.

Now bathed in electricity, Ttaur looks down at Tandy. His quills bouncing off each other as the current flows through his body. He again shakes his head. "That's a damn shame..."

Deadly Greatsword: 1d100 ⇒ 1Critical
Electrical Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 3) + 6 = 14x1.5=21

Standtall

Block: 1d100 ⇒ 50

Tandy tries to block the attack but isn't quite fast enough.

Massive Location: 1d6 ⇒ 4

The blade strikes her in the arm. Surprisingly, she takes the hit and merely looks back at Ttaur, spitting her own blood in his face.

Ttaur licks the blood from his face and smiles wide, "We will get along great!"

"Just don't hold a grudge after I kill you." says Tandy.

Enten looks at where Aszeera slashed at him. Obviously shocked at not being hurt.
'How did she not hurt me? She looks skilled enough to hit me. Did she miss me on purpose? She is very beautiful.'

"Well that could have hurt. Thank you, Miss Aszeera, for being kind enough not to hurt me. I shall return the favor, Milady."

Enten bows his head slightly towards Aszeera. Then gripping his spear turns towards Tandy.

Attack Tandy, Standtall

1d100 ⇒ 43
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Arnesto just begins to whistle as he aims for a target. " Ohhh the choices, I suppose I'll shoot you my fair Aszeera. "

A marksman's bolt flies toward the dual wielding woman.

Crossbow: 1d100 ⇒ 31
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Massive Location: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Massive: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Enten impaled Tandy through the chest and she falls.

Toughness: 1d100 ⇒ 86

Massive Location: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Massive: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Aszeera meanwhile takes a leg Wound from one of Arnesto's shots.

Loki chuckles, "No hard feelings at all"

Loki's wolf 5's diagonally biting at Aszeera while Loki grabs his bow and shoots at Aszeera. Giving her a wink he lets loose his arrow and 5'-ing back beside Elige still

1d100 ⇒ 45Wolfy's attack
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

1d100 ⇒ 38Loki's attack
1d8 ⇒ 3

Vasper holds a hand up, "Alright, alright, that's enough. She isn't going to be able to put up much of a fight with an injury like that and no support."

Toughness: 1d100 ⇒ 90

Massive Location : 1d6 ⇒ 1

Massive: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

But in the middle of his speech Loki chops the leg off of Aszeera.

Vasper snaps his fingers repeatedly, "Hey. Loki. Fights over."

Standing he says, " The Sheep and the Black Wolf will be along to pick amongst the others. Since I was in charge of this little exercise, I'll take first pick for my recruits."

"You five, come." Vasper says and makes for the exit.

Technically I actually applied damage a little out of turn there, so Aszeera actually died to Arnesto, and Enten hit Tandy, and then Ernie killed Tandy.

As soon as Enten see's the last enemy fall he starts walking around and retrieves his javelins. Enten listens as Dusk Wolf tells us the fight is over. He cleans off the blood as he starts to follow Dusk Wolf towards the exit.

Enten stops for a second and looks around at all the fallen. Then smiles as he looks at his group, who is barely hurt at all.
"I think we worked pretty well together. How about you guys?"

Arnesto began to walk up and shrugged, " Well you do your job quite well. It was only smart to let the enemy weaken themselves upon each other and pick off the stragglers who deemed themselves foolish enough to attack us. Sometimes it is simply better to be slower and see everything unfold around you instead of striking first. It simply was luck that Krenshaw had drew attention to greatest but it was inevitable SOMEONE would. "

Arnesto took a piece a parchment writing something down in it and closing Aszeera's hand in it. He goes around doing this to most of the last group they fought and returns to the Steps behind Vasper. " Well then, Shall we continue? "

He shoulders his Crossbow once more sighing.

As the group gathers to leave, two identical women enter into the room.

They have long black curly hair, and on their shoulders is draped a large black wolf Cloak.

On their back is a large great sword and bow.

Their armor is full plate but it doesn't seem to be causing them must effort to move around in it. The armor itself seems to have been tempered black and you notice in all sorts of odd angles and locations a small blade sticks out of the suits.

Vasper notices the two women and says, "Ah, you're late, you missed the show."

"Lets see."

"Sheep? I think your star pupil is the one over there, Krenshaw. You'll also want Milk, Samwell, Carl and Theo."

"As for you Black, you take the girls, they all seem to have that certain flair that you like, and Tornin, he's solid with a blade."

" I'm not sure if I should feel honored to be chosen by the esteemed Vasper or regret not being chosen by either of these fine ladies. Though the names are deceiving, are they simply covers for the organization? "

Arnesto pondered aloud somewhat to Vasper, " Truth be told I didn't even show all that much... save good judgement I suppose. "

One of the women speak at Arnesto's question, "One of us isn't actually a lady. Sheep doesn't show his appearance to recruits. Or members, for that matter."

"A Wolf... In Sheep's clothing." says Vasper.

"A little joke." he finishes.

The other women, apparently Sheep, merely bows.

-Posted with Wayfinder

Arnesto gives the straightest of faces, " I'm not seeing how that changes my statement. I cannot say I don't like a good puzzle. I see two fine ladies, that's enough for me. "

Arnesto bowed in response.

"But does he have a vagina right now?!..." Ttaur states aloud. Looking around and seeing peoples reactions he simply lowers his head. "That was out loud wasn't it?"

"*sighs*,... Okay, I suppose..." Loki gives another sharp whistle as his wolf comes over jumping in excitement. "Ye-... I know girl, but it'll only be for a bit..." Pulling out a wolf pelt cloak he then drapes it over his back and in doing so the wolf dissipates into nothing.

Loki looks to the bodies and with a cheerful tone, "Let's play again soon!"

-----------------------
fast forward to current
-----------------------

Loki remains semi quiet though lively as ever as he replaces the bow, re-shouldering it and walking with the others, "It's okay big guy... I think she liked you" he says to Ttaur.

Sheep says to Ttaur, "There's only one way for you to find out." winking to the half minotaur.

"Please don't use my body to scar new recruits." says the Black Wolf.

"Come." says Vasper, "Your friends will need to recover, they'll join us soon. In the meantime I have a request to make of you."

-Posted with Wayfinder

" A request of us? What could that possibly be? If its anything Dangerous Im sure those two will be up for it. " Arnesto points to the two Half-Breeds.

" Other than that I'm quite curious otherwise. "

Enten laughs at the situation Ttaur finds himself in.

"Damn, Ttaur! Already impressing the ladies. Nice!"

Enten continues to laugh and nods to both Sheep and Black Wolf.

Enten turns and continues to follow Dusk Wolf.
"Anything you need, Mr. Dusk Wolf! I hope it'll be interesting."

Looks over at Arnesto after his statement. "Not quite so, Arnesto. Dangerous is not what I am looking for here. Nor pain either. I need a break from the boring monotony of farming for a bit. So I am hoping for an interesting and adventurous time. Preferably one I survive, of course."

As hard as Ttaurs body was already... Somehow...

"I have no preference really." Ttaur states as he eyes Arnesto, a slight wickedness in his tone. He the proceeds to follow Duskwolf wherever he may be taking the group.

so there's this cake...

Loki's eyes light up with excitement, listening intently as he begins removing any debris beneath his fingernails with a dagger. "how often is that room used?"

The Gleeful Human chuckles, " Six of one, half a dozen of the other " In response to Ttaur and Enten.

Arnesto seems to rub his hands together. " We didnt get into this business NOT expecting little danger I hope? I mean, not a few moments ago, We slaughtered, what? 8-10 other people? "

"A fair bit." says Vasper in response to Loki.

Leading the group out of the room and into a hall they begin to walk, "This here is the male dormitories." he says indicating to his left, "And to our right are the females."

"I must warn you. Any activity you wish to pursue with someone of the opposite gender is to be done outside of the dormitories."

"Get a room at an Inn or get your own place. Those caught in others dormitories are punished severely here."

Vasper begins to walk once more, "For those of you unfamiliar with the structure of how we run the clan, Sheep and Black Wolf tend to take of the side of Clan operations involving espionage, subterfuge, assassination, and the like."

"I myself, am pretty much the catch all for anything outside of that."

-Posted with Wayfinder

"Of course, I know there will be danger. That adds to the excitement I am hoping for. This battle though is the most exciting thing to happen in years. I can't wait to see what we get into next!"

Enten has a huge grin as he speaks to Arnesto.

"Very well. Ah, so we will have a wide variety of things to do. Great! This will be fun."

" My word, Lord Vasper if I did not know any better I would have assumed those rules were set up against my person. I jest however, I would know better than to do so. I am curious by what you mean as 'severely' and if so by who? " Arnesto seems to ask nonchalantly.

" I'm curious what ' anything else, ' might include. I would think the first list be what you have for the more... promising recruits. "

Arnesto seems to show faux excitement in response to Enten. " As long as it pays well. "

"The punishments are both extensive, harsh, and permanent, let us speak nothing more of them."

"Furthermore, don't take it as an insult to your skills, not being chosen for Sheep or Black Wolf."

"The reality of assassination is that for the vast majority of cases, all that's needed to be a successful is a poisoned knife, a pretty face, and a revealing dress."

"Those more apt in combat go through me."

Arriving at a new hall, you find yourselves in what appears to be a chamber designed for entertaining, as there are a number of comfortable looking couches and chairs and a few long tables set up with a number of drinks and food.

"A seat." says Vasper, indicating to sit as he takes to a large cushioned chair.

Vasper puts his fingers together and rests his chin upon them.

"So. My request."

"The Night Wolves are particularly popular not only within Cilan Rora, but also the surrounding countryside, largely in part to our increased presence there, with things such as periodic patrols and aid when needed."

"Recently, the small hamlet of Tas Mora has been claiming to be the victim of frequent and consistent banditry."

"We sent a group of veterans to look into the matter but they came back with nothing to report."

"Only for a representative from Tas Mora to arrive late the very next day to say the bandits had shown up as soon as our patrol left."

"This leads me to believe something rather odd is happening."

"The bandits have struck, apparently, the first of the month for the past three, excepting most recently when they struck a day later, as our patrol was there."

"For this reason, and seeing as how the first is tomorrow, I want you all to make for Tas Mora come tomorrow afternoon."

"Tell no one of where you are going or why, and camp outside Tas Mora and see what is going on down there."

"If indeed Tas Mora is being raided as they claim, I of course expect you to deal with the bandits in whatever manner you see fit. Provided! Of course. That it does not reflect poorly on the reputation of the Clan."

"Are my instructions clear? Can I trust you all with this task?"

-Posted with Wayfinder

Enten walks over to a table and grabs a drink. Dusk wolf says to take a seat and start his speech. Enten follows directions and returns to sit in a cushioned chair.

After hearing Dusk Wolf out Enten speaks up.
"Sir, what you want us to do seems pretty clear. Observe town for possible raid. If this happens, interfere however we set fit. Correct?"

'We need more info than this though!'

Enten takes a drink before continuing.
"Mr. Dusk Wolf, Sir. I have a few questions pertaining to this task. How long does it take to get to this town from here, both by foot and horse? Do you know what is the lay of the land is like around and in the town? How many bandits did they say there are for each raid? Do we know what direction they attack and leave from? Do we know what type of weapons and armor they may have? Do they hurt the people? What places do they raid first? What are they taking?"

Enten looks to the others sitting in the chamber."Anything else you guys can think of? That's all I have for the moment."

"Tas Mora is around four or five miles to the south it should take a few hours walk, the surrounding area is mostly plains as it is primarily a farming community, but the east side of town does have a hilly and sparse forest."

"As far as details on the raid and it's perpetrators themselves I'm afraid I cannot provide any information. The reports from Tas Mora have been inconsistent to put it mildly. One of the reasons it has me so curious."
