Ortensia lobbed the spent haunt siphon at the mimic as Creeden started battering it with fisticuffs, aiming for the wall behind it so the splash of negative energies wouldn't effect Creeden.

When the second sarcophagus burst open to reveal an animated mummy, she startled. Oh no...!
She brandished her maul, readying to bludgeon it back to death.

Creeden manages to hit the mimic twice and then breaks free.
The negative energy hits the mimic and it yelps in pain.
Ortensia hits the mummy but it ignores the damage.

Zephra looks up from fighting the mimic and nods anxiously at Eleric. "You can summon a pit? That sounds ideal! Anything to keep it off of us for a little while!"
She chops and slices at the sticky aberration with her greatdagger, fighting to keep it between her and Creeden.

I can reduce it to a two-legged torch bit I need you all to be at least 4 paces from it. Twenty or so feet. I don't want to set you alight.
Using 2 mental points to fire an Energy Ray for fire dmg at mummy. Get clear if you don't wanna be a crispy critter.6/9 mental points left.
Anyone else, I'm assuming Ortensia is readying until the way is clear?

I'm confused about waiting for us to move. Did the mummy get out of the pit? Also, I've been forgetting that I got an iterative attack when we leveled up to 6th. (Doh!)

The mummy is safely stuck in the pit the dc is 25 so it can get out.
"I not so great at the killing things. I can muster some damage if we need. How are you all doing with the mimic?"
Creeden's blows slices the mimic into several pieces. The mummy tries to climb out of the pit again

"So, the thing about pits is the can't be unsummoned. But the mummy will rise up in 24 seconds. Mummies are pretty dumb so if we wait until the pops back up we should beable to jump it."
Assuming this is a normal stupid mummy I say we stand around the pit (5ft back from the group edge). Have everyone delay until the beginning of Eleric's turn. When the spells ends everybody 5ft steps and full attacks. If it's still up Eleric will burning hands.
I think if you are that close, you also have to make a reflex save (this is create pit isn't it?

You are correct that is why I suggested they stand 5 ft away from edge of the pit. I'm assuming its would come up close to its potential victims also because there are stairs and stuff in the way. I drew the pit and the dangerous edge.

Darn it, I forgot we were hasted. That's two additional attacks I lost! Also, the mimic didn't hit me because of the +1 AC.

Just as the pit ends the mummy is roasted by Eleric's spell. It goes up in flames and turns to ashes.
The sarcophagus is of ancient Osirian design and is worth 2000gp. Also among its wrappings is a ring of the ram
