Sorry for the delay. As at least some of you know, my mother passed away a few days ago. I...had an idea for getting Cinat his mark and symbol, but it's slipped away from me, and now I'm waiting for a brain reboot.
Hmm... can you tell me a little more about him? Cinat doesn't have a character sheet up, I think, but I might be able to toss out a few ideas for ya. ^^

Anyway, Incanters' strength is the sheer number of talents you get. Effective distribution varies by theme - what sort of character are you trying to play, and what role(s) do you want to fulfill?
Saiga is pretty invested in his companion, which effectively fights for him. But it's a slow payoff sense it's going to take more talents before his companion is actually that good in combat.
As for Saiga himself, he does not have that many tricks combat wise. He can teleport, become invisible, and shoot off a basic destructive blast via his talents. He also has a short range breath weapon and a handful of spell like abilities. But his DCs and atk bonus are low to average at best.
Basically he is a cunning little guy with a big draconic friend. When it comes to the talking he is tough but when it comes to blows he takes a back seat. Having just enough personal power to sting and run. x)
Warp in general is pretty handy. o wo If you want a great companion, it does help to invest pretty hard in that sphere, so most of your talents ought to be there. I'd say no more than 2-3 each in other spheres, maybe using drawbacks to pad things out, if that's your goal.
Yeah I currently have around 9 talents invested in my companion. Each level I will likely only use one talent on something besides my companion. Any conjuration talents I should prioritize?
Depends on the build you're going for. Stat and gear are good to have, while special movement isn't very important at this level.

Too many to count. A drow could be interesting in this game, although I imagine they would not like daytime much.

Yeah I had similar thoughts at first. But the more I thought about it, the more it seemed like they would develop a sort of friendly rivalry type relationship rather then competition type one. After all Saiga is more a hands off manipulator and master of misdirection rather then a honest merchant. He is a spectacular liar with more interest in favors and relationships over purely goods as a means towards wealth and influence. Do you think that would be stepping on your toes?
Personally I was looking forward towards the interaction between the two. The honorable merchant and the amoral paddler of favors and influence. Even got a game board so the two could viciously make their symbolic battle of wits and virtues physical in a sense. :D

Small correction for our great DM, Saiga is currently disguised as a halfling. Sense he learned long ago not everyone takes well to kobolds, more so a little freak looking kobold like himself. Including other kobolds, he suspects it's the whiskers. They may be jealous. ;P
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough about my mark in my first Saiga post. They are silvery tattoo's. A serpentine dragon's head rest atop each hand spiraling its way around the arm to connect to a rune on each shoulder, along the way there are a pair of symbols on each arm running the length.
Unless I missed it, Saiga does not have a symbol yet. Right DM?

My intention here was for the characters to be at least curious about each other, which has been mostly accomplished. I was kinda hoping Saiga would explain where his mark came from to the others when it was mentioned they knew he has one, but this should work for now.

Honestly, he's not even the weirdest thing we've seen on a typical day. XD Besides, Azri's paying more attention to the "merchant" bit. She's completely willing to overlook eccentricities if it will help the city, and why make people uncomfortable by calling out things that may bother them?
