Or you can all huddle in the hall squeeze into the main hallway and close the door behind you.

At the beginning of the surprise round they have a physical form for you Gerard.

The daylight from the dagger has the vampire spawn blink but has no noticeable effect on them. The dagger is flicked and hits the vampire then flies back to the Gerard's hand.

The spawn falls to the ground.

Surprise Round:

The spawn on the ground turns gaseous.

The remaining VS will use it's dominate (SU) ability which does not provoke an AOO on Gerard. DC 14 Will save.
