The robot's arms raise with a squeal and a two-pronged widget emerges from its left forearm.

"Come up here and be prepared to help out if the security-bot doesn't like EVA."

E.V.A's hands blur as she delves into the electronic guts of the police bot. She manages to reboot the thing's CPU, and she spots the intellegence governor that keeps the robot from achieveing sentience.
