The Emissary, Marthysan, and Kiang Zhen step forward to begin the formal ceremony of passing the title of Ruby Phoenix Champion!!! But before that can happen, a clash of thunder bursts overhead in the otherwise clear and cloudless sky. The joyous sounds of celebration cease momentarily as the stunned observers and officials alike look around for the source of the sound. An uneasy hush falls over the masses. Two twin sisters, previously disguised as attendants step out onto the field. "Not so fast! Once we take our revenge for the victory that was stolen from us, we will be the true victors!" One cackles to the crowd.

First question: is the good hope spell still in effect? It had a 12 minute duration when I cast it before the last fight, but we never decided how much of that time had elapsed.

Note: that includes the good hope bonus, but it's a Don't roll a 1 situation either way. Waiting for the answer for the next move.

Still spinning in his battle dance, the singed Pallas moves forward, prepared to cast a spell at a moment's notice.

Note that because of my gloves of arcane striking, any opponent adjacent to my target takes 3 points of magic slashing damage.

Chugan also scores a hit. The two warriors can feel invisible bars form in front of them! You two are in a force cage and cannot attack out of this cage unless you are firing arrows or using similar small weapons. Even if you do so, you have cover. You can attack the force cage, but it has hardness 30 and 260 hp. The visible sister steps away and drinks a potion!

Pallas reaches his fingers through the bars of the magical force cage. Well, he tries the first time, but stubs his fingers on the invisible cage, wincing visibly. Once through, he wiggles them at his companions, beckoning them closer.

Smiling at Chugan and Vahanian he asks. "Feel like a get-out-of-jail card?"

Free action to continue battle dance, swift action to activate arcane strike; 5' step to move next to cage; ready casting of dimension door once Vahanian and Chugan have both grabbed on to my finger.

I believe Forcecage has a Reflex Negates on it which would be (if applicable, since the wording is kinda weird)...

Brachus moves forward To H3 and casts a spell summoning a burst of sound behind the visible caster..hoping that Pallas will take care of freeing his companions.

Fervor is minutes? There was a time gap based on the answer on good hope. We martial kids do pay attention ;)

Fervor was cast in the battle with Gomwai which was immediately right before this so it is still up for a few rounds.

Nope. Marisa can point out the other sister that is flying 30 feet up where she is up on the map. So if you want, you can use a range weapon to attack her. There is still the 50% miss chance though. Vahanian is the last PC up.

From seemingly out of nowhere, a blast furnace-hot wind blasts downward onto Vahanian, Chugan, and Pallas!

Fire: 4d6 + 13 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 6) + 13 = 25 You three can make a fort save DC21. If you make it you take half damage. If you fail you take full damage and are knocked prone. If you take any damage from the spell, you are fatigued. If you are already fatigued, you are exhausted instead, which means Vahanian is exhausted. Party is up!

Fort save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13, ouch, take 25 fire damage.

Pallas screams as the fire burns his body and knocks him onto the ground. He reaches into his handy haversack and pulls out a scroll, flipping it open with a practiced motion. He intones the magical words and touches Vahanian next to him.

"Go get her, tiger." he whispers to the Kellid as he uses the magic from the Caydenite's spell to get him off his back.

Move action to draw scroll of invigorate, and standard action to cast it on Vahanian. Use blessing of fervor ability to stand up as a swift action, free action to continue battle dance.

I don't think that the other caster is visible now..but I'm assuming that if she isn't Mariassa will cast glitterdust and has told us that she's flying somewhere..and since everyone can stand up as a swift action from the blessing if they go prone...

Brachus remembers that he has seen Chugan fly on his own and invokes his deity for added speed Choosing the extra speed from Blessing of Fervor and move towards O2as he rushes towards Vahanian and touches him as he mumbles a spell under his breath
