Actually, with Dance of 23 Steps going my CMD is 36, so I'm not grappled.
Without saying another word, Pallas takes advantage of Risha's prone position, striking at her multiple times.

As soon as he black tentacles start to crawl up from the ground Brachus can feel the divine protection kicking in.
Seeing most of his companions suffer the faith of the tentacles crawling up their bodies Brachus concentrates and extends the protection that is granted to him
Using domain power, all within 30ft of me are not affected by the confused, grappled, frightened, panicked, paralyzed, pinned, or shaken conditions. This aura only suppresses these effects, and they return once a creature leaves the aura or when the aura ends, if applicable. One round used. Since it's still difficult terrain, but I'm hasted moving to S24 so I should cover the whole party
Looking over his shoulder as he moves through the crawling tentacles at Marisa and Vahanian
"Get out while you still can"

Chugan grins and goes to work on finishing his opponent.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33

The "Other Stuff" in this case is 5 points of bleed, and a -2/-6 to me penalty to attacks

escape grapple: 1d20 ⇒ 6 - Nope.

@Marisa; You are not stuck though. Brachus currently excludes an aura which prevents you from having the grappled condition. I'd still advice moving out of the black tentacles area since I can't keep this up for ever, but for now you are fine

Oh, well in that case...
Move to S26. Use telekinesis to grapple on the last opponent.
grapple attempt: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29

DM Amazing Red |

"Well, kinda hard for me to wake him up. Brachus?"

![]() |

Brachus stops sustaining the aura emanating from his body and moves to help with the "relieving of enemy weaponry"
At Marisa's comment he looks over Mathysan

Pallas helps untie the Paladin. "When you did not appear at the latest banquet, we became worried and began to investigate. Those investigations brought us here, luckily in time."
He helps the man to his feet, handing him any of his belongings they might have come across. "How did they capture you? Did they tell you what they wanted?"

![]() |

"Huh. Well, I guess you threw the tournament early then. Well, maybe we can look forward to a bye tomarow then?"
"Nah. That wouldn't be much fun..."
"So who exactly is the person giving you the orders? Anyone you met?"

![]() |

"Well if we realy want to now I can always try to talk to her corpse if we take some time to prepare...or do we just accept that the Aspis are traitors and try to win the tournament?"

![]() |

Pallas scratches his head. "We could also offer to raise her, in exchange for going after her former employers. She seemed a very mercenary sort, she might go for it."

![]() |

Pallas turns to the tengu, trying to make a point. "We now know that the Golden League is trying to fix the games, most likely for personal gain. We also know that they will use any method to assure the results they prefer. Shouldn't we deal with them first, or at least figure out if we are likely to encounter more underhanded sabotage attempts?"

![]() |

Brachus goes and pokes the Aspis agent
"Are there anymore plans to try to sabotage us or the tournament in general?"
Unless the answer is yes I say we just get on with the tournament.

![]() |

Pallas looks interested. "Tell us more about this Hob, Gomwai."

DM Amazing Red |

It is the next morning. Due to the actions of the Aspis, the remaining competitors are disqualified. Which means the Dragons of Absalom are in the finals! The roar of the crowd and the beat of a dozen large drums fill the air; the energy and excitement in the Grand Pavilion are palpable. The winner of this match will be crowned Ruby Phoenix Champion and gain access to the vaults of the legendary Hao Jin, and in so doing, become legend as well. Your last opponent is the Hobgoblin known as Gomwai. He is flanked by a trio of tien warriors.

-Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.
-Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.

Any chance for precasting spells?

Glancing to the Barbarian, Chugan squawks, "Same plan that's been working" He then darts off into battle.
Using the "go faster" option, after starting to rage I'll move to q10 and ready for someone *cough*V*cough* to charge into flanking position. When that does occur:
Vital Strike!: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25

![]() |

Anything that lasts for at least 10 minutes you can have up.
In that case, Palls would have cast mirror image and good hope: +2 on almost all d20 rolls, and 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 images.

DM Amazing Red |

1d20 + 24 ⇒ (9) + 24 = 33

Bodyguarding Marisa: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (7) + 20 = 27, success! Marisa gets a +8 to AC, which sadly does not prevent the attack, as he rolled a 26.
Activate battle dance as a swift action; everyone within 30' of Pallas now can add +1d6 sonic damage.
Pallas will take the "extra attack" option from Blessing of Fervor. Taking the bonus to attack and defense
Seeing Chugan on the other side of his enemies Brachus nods his head at the guy who just hit him in the head and prepares to strike at the other guy waving his morning star to distract the monk so Chugan can hit him from behind.
