Godfrey will continue to attack the goblin he is flanking with Caerwyn. Hoping to gain the advantage by multiple attackers

Seeing as how the last round went horribly wrong he will cast Flare on the goblin that is attacking all of us. In a casting that sounds more like yelps and growls.

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn will turn to face the goblin between him and Tani, bringing his sword around in an arc meant to split the little goblin in half.

Masaru grunts as a hand quickly goes to his eyes as an explosion strikes his face and his vision leaves him. "Damn it," he growls, stumbling as he found it hard to keep balance in the middle of combat with his vision gone. He grit his teeth, his face burnt from the firework and struggling as he weakly struck out with his naked steel and found nothing. It was an awkward feeling and he bit his lower lip, searching and feeling too exposed to his liking.

Round 2 summary
Caerwyn you attack the goblin between you and Tani but your arching swing goes right over the creatures head. The goblin tries to return the favor and strikes at you with his sword but ends up stabbing himself in the foot. Tani will strike out at the goblin that just stabbed himself and connect with the creature, dropping it to the ground dead. Godfrey casts flare and Tani, Caerwyn, and the remaining close range goblin are affected(-1 to attack rolls and perception checks for one minute). Sandru will move up to the goblin close to the group and will try to shank it with his scimitar but it slips from his hand. Two more firework attacks go off and one of the flames goes right over Kerri's head and the other one will hit sandru on the chest, burning him for 1 point of lethal damage and 1 point of non lethal damage. Kerri your target the goblin that tried to hit you with the fireworks and strike him in the chest with your magic missle and he drops to the ground. The goblin Sandru tried to hit will try to return the favor but will miss. The last goblin will shoot a spark at Kerri and the spark goes over her head again. Masaru you strike out blindly and don't connect with anything but at the end of this round your eyes do clear and you can see again.

AC: 15 (10 + 2 DEX + 3 Studded Leather)
12/13 HP; 12/13 HP (Non-lethal)
Option 1:
As his vision clears Masaru tightens his grip on his sword. He finds the goblin he attempted to strike before (or the goblin he thought he had) and focuses himself. Be fluid like water, be strong like the earth, move like the wind, and strike like fire, he thinks, reassuring himself. He takes a deep breath and raises the sword above his head. He steps into the strike, attempting to cut the creature down from hip to waist.
Attack Roll 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Damage Roll 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Option 2:
Masaru sees a goblin fire a rocket that thankfully flies over Kerri's head. A protective streak rides through him and he drops his sword low to the ground and charges the goblin. HA! A loud war cry is torn from his throat, steadying the blade as he rushes across the ground. As he quickly closes in on the goblin he raises the sword before skidding to a halt, dust kicked up in the halting movement. The sword flashes up before slashing down in a flash of steel.

Tanimoto |

I am delighted when my sword connects. It means I still got some skill. Then the flare and I wince. Looking around I try and locate any foes. If I see one I will do:
Move to flank if possible and attack
Attack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 For:2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5
If no flank is available I will simply charge one and knock a d6 off my damage.
Also if I have the ability to charge AND flank then add 2 to my above result to hit.

Another mistake?! Shows I am tired, in action 2 : If the goblin is not in combat with anyone, my attack bonus is +7, not +3. If it is in combat, then it remains at +3. Sorry about this.

DM Mathpro |
Caerwyn strikes the final goblin by the wagon, running his sword through the creature. Tani charges one of the goblins holding fireworks and her blade strikes true. Godfrey moves up to flank with Tani and drops the goblin with his clubbing blow to the creatures head. Sandru charges one the remaining goblins but ends up missing on his attack. The goblin he attacked shoots the firework at him but somehow misses the target right in front of him. Kerri you move toward the goblin that fired at you and fire off your spell but it misses. The goblin tries to return the favor, firing another spark at you. The spark connects with you and you take 1 point of lethal damage and 1 point of non lethal damage as it burns you slightly. Masaru charges the goblin that just hit Kerri and his strike connects dropping the beast in one hit.
With that powerful blow the battle ends.

Masaru Haganekaze |

The goblins all fell around their feet, their weapons bloodied from the brief encounter. Masaru arcs his sword to his side, flicking his wrist to splatter the road with the blood left on his sword. His eyes shift, looking to see all of his companions alive and well if not relatively unscathed. He sheaths his sword and approaches Sandru, asking, "Are you alright?"

Godfrey Warden |

At the sight of his brother, Godfrey doffs his shield and club and hurdles over the wagon embracing his step brother. If I had known it was you under attack I might have stayed back and let you take more of a beating.
quick visual inspection to see if Sandru is Harmed. Heal check1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

DM Mathpro |
Sandru nods at Masaru "Yeah I'm fine...can't say the same for my wagon...but thankfully it was empty. We were just heading back to sand point after making a delivery.
He stiffens has he's embraced by Godfrey. "Easy there..." he says before pushing you off of him and then messing up your hair playfully. "I had it handled...
He isn't hurt any more than anyone else that got hit by the fireworks so he'll be fine.

Godfrey Warden |

I saw how you handled it. Remind me not to take lessons from your teacher on, um ... handling things. If we hadn't happened along we'd be pulling your body out the wreckage Godfrey says before quippingly ending it with a new nickname he thought of for SandruExtra Crispy.

Tanimoto |

I clean my blade and simply stare at it. "Way out of practice. Still not bad for someone who spent the past few month waiting tables and fending off frisky patrons." I look to the others. "Is everyone else okay?" I look around and shrug. "So, who is going to collect the ears? I'm not going to even touch those nasty little things. Who knows where they've been."

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn will clasp forearms with the brawny merchant "Good to see you again, Sandru. Although I wish it could have been a little less exciting a reunion." Caerwyn will then begin the grisly job of cutting off the goblin's ears and placing them in a pouch "I suggest that we pool our "trophies" that way no one will feel shortchanged. Go ahead and keep track of your kills, if you want to. I know I will."
Caerwyn's kill total: 1
Ears: 12

Masaru Haganekaze |

Masaru smiles, nodding to Sandru. He glanced to Caerwyn and Tanimoto after looking to see if Kerri was okay. "We need to continue on, don't we? Sandru, do you think you need any help returning to Sandpoint?" He wouldn't let Caerwyn alone carry the burden of cutting off the ears of the goblins. After he finished the bloody task, he cleaned his hands off with a squirt of water from the skin he carried. He took a deep breath, frowning as he looked at the caravan.
"Do you think we can salvage anything?"

Kerri Corynian |

Once the fighting is done, I get to my knees and start to quietly speak in the foreign tongue that I was speaking in during the whole confrontation. "zezhuanth iri, vinxa ihk wer letoclo persvek nomeno tafiaf. ios dout regipre, si ornla ti qe takh."
Once I have said my piece I stand up again, rub my arm where the firework hit me and look up to everyone else. "I'm glad that is over now, but what about that goblin king the sheriff was talking about, the one he wanted the head of?" I don't help with the removal of ears, instead I sit down on a rock and wait patiently for everyone to finish.

DM Mathpro |
Sandru grips Caerwyns forearm with a smile, ignoring the words of his half brother. He looks around at the group and the shakes his head "You do know that the collection of ears for profit has been strictly prohibited right?"
At Masaru's question Sandru looks at the wagon and sighs. "No nothing's left of it...Jubrayl is going to kill me." He starts unhooking whats left of the rigging from his horses.
As Kerri asks about the mission for the sheriff Sandru raises an eyebrow and looks at Godfrey. "Oh you were sent out here on official business, not because that old crow you call mom sent you to check on me?"
You would also know that Jubrayl is Sandru's brother by blood and a full fledged member of the Sczarni. There have been many many rumors about Sandru's involvement with that group of thieves but for as long as you've known him he hasn't been a member.

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn gives Masaru a grateful smile as he helps in collecting the ears. At Sandru's words he replies "The Sheriff lifted the ban. Some goblins attacked Ameiko and Shalelu last night. That combined with the recent caravan attacks." he spreads his arms to indicate the entire area "convinced the Sheriff that the current "herd" of goblins needed to be culled back a little"

Godfrey Warden |

Godfrey raises an eyebrow, You call her mom too, and long before I did.
He bends down brushes the grass with his hand. Looks up and sniffs the air then points in a south eastern direction away from where they are runored to be camping They came from that way. He insists.

Tanimoto |

I simply linger and let the friends and family have their talk. When Gadfry speaks of the trail, I look at him a bit puzzled. "So they have a new base maybe?" I look to the others. "So what'll it be? Follow rumors? Or follow the trail? Personally I am in favor of the trail." I wait for the others to respond

DM Mathpro |
Sandru says his fairwells and heads off back to Sandpoint as you guys head southeast. The trail takes you off the Lost Coast road and closer to the ocean eventually meeting up with the shoreline. The rockeysand of the soreline makes it hard to track but Godfrey is able to still follow the little foot prints that were left in the sand. You travel about and hour along the shoreline, the foot prints getting clearer to see and more numerous, before you come to a small rowboat that is haphazardly tied to a piece of drift wood. Off into the ocean a little ways you see a ship smashed up against a set of rocks that jut out of the water. The shoreline is littered with foot prints that lead to and from the boat.

Masaru Haganekaze |

"Huh," Masaru said, stopping and folding his arms across his chest. "Are these little bastards smart enough to use a boat?" He thought aloud to himself, glancing from the row boat to the shipwreck off the coast. Well, they did manage to shoot us with fireworks... He sounded his displeasure, sighing as he approached the boat and looked in. He wondered if they had somehow made a sort of refuge in the wreckage off of the coast, which in and of itself, was quite odd. He began to push the boat off of the beach and into the lapping waves, knowing what they needed to do.

Godfrey Warden |

At seeing the ship the goblins might be using as a base, Godfrey says Hmph which means he thinks I've heard of stranger, I've seen stranger, I kitsune who hasn't played a prank on his companions or taken fox form, and a cross dressing ninja. He pauses a moment. At least they left us a way to get over to the ship with.
Godfrey squints his eyes and tries to block the sun with his hands.
Can I see the name of the ship? Perception1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Kerri Corynian |

"Well it looks like we have found where we have to go. I wonder how many of us can fit in that boat?"
I look at the boat and try to determine how many of us can fit inside it, not sure if I need a check for that though.

Masaru Haganekaze |

Masaru manages to push the boat off of the shore, fighting against the waves that lap against the beach and the small vessel. He grabs an oar from the boat and hops into the water, planting the oar down into the sand to hold the boat steady. "Alright, lets head out," he said, handing off the other oar to Caerwyn. He would offer his hands to the others to help them onto the boat before pushing them off of the shore with the oar. After settling down, he began to churn the water as he began to push the paddle through the water. He worked with Caerwyn in unison to push them from the beach and cut through the waters to the distant shipwreck.

Kerri Corynian |

I make sure to squeeze in, even if it is uncomfortable for me. I don't want anyone to have the horror of having me on their lap. Other than that I am very quiet, not speaking up at all.
As we are moving towards the ship, I am keeping my eyes forwards, checking for anything that could be considered dangerous. If I do see something, I will tell everyone immediately.

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Working together Caerwyn and Masaru row the longboat out the shipwreck.

DM Mathpro |
Tani its very very difficult in the high surf to keep your balance and you slip several times but are able to keep your self from going over. Eventually Caerwyn and Masaru are able to get the boat past the large waves and into calmer water.
You approach the rocks that the ship has wreaked on and you see a small area where you can tie the boat off and make your way onto the ship. Please roll for me an acrobatics check DC 15 to keep your balance and get onto the wreaked ship.

Masaru Haganekaze |

DC 15 Acrobatics Check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
After he tethered the boat to the rocks he stood up, pushing himself up onto he edge of the boat. He jumped up, causing the row boat to rock as he managed to leap up into the shipwreck. He managed to maintain his balance and he found his footing, bracing a hand against the ship as he reached back to help the others on board.

Kerri Corynian |

Acrobatics : 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Once the boat has reached the ship I stand up and nearly slip over but mange to keep my footing. As I leave the boat my back foot slips, but surprisingly enough I don't go down yet again. Fearing that I will not make it next time, I reach out for Masaru's hand and have him help pull me onto the ship. "Ancestors, thank-you for letting me slip over then."
Once onto the ship, I will have a glance over the deck to make sure I can't see anything dangerous.
