this is for the Adventure path Reign of winter, this will start everyone at lvl 1. the character it self doesn't have to be registered with PFS but it can if you'd like, the character should be PFS legal. Some people have already expressed interest in this and they will have priority in signing up

Is this supposed to be campaign mode? It sounds rather in between campaign mode and regular.
I'm very interested. About a year ago I had a group playing Reign of Winter TPK on the very first battle. We tried to restart, but just couldn't get going again.

I am interested but I haven't made a PFS legal character before so maybe I could get some feedback from you are another player to make sure I haven't made a mistake?
Also the people who have expressed an interest if they've settled on a character it would be great to know the classes they had in mind, let us fill out roles they weren't gunning for or that would compliment them well kind of thing.

If this is like the other APs I have played in, you really can't go straight through it as a PFS character, because it doesn't give enough XP. You do the approved part of the first volume, and that gives 3 XP, which is enough to get from level 1 to level 2. But then your character can't play in the second volume, because it usually requires you to be higher than level 2.
If we want to do the entire AP with a group of players, we would need to do campaign mode, where the characters we are playing as are not actual PFS characters. In campaign mode, we do the entire book, not just the approved portions. The GM can choose for themselves what the build rules are in campaign mode. You could still require PFS legal characters, the characters we played with just wouldn't be actual PFS characters.

Actually, for campaign mode, the characters played do not need to be PFS legal. They can be whatever the GM declares. However, I get the impression that you want the characters to be built using PFS rules because that's what you are comfortable with.

understood, all builds will be PFS legal builds for this AP
Well, like I said, I have several PFS characters that are level 1, and am happy to play any, depending on what the group needs. I have as follows:
1. Yu Khan Bard, has done a single PFS senario, going with strong off-heal abilities.
2. Donna Pude, Human Fighter 1(2h). Stock
3. Brundie Hands, Human Wizard 1
4. Lomar Kenomic Alchemist 1
5. Rhea Currin the Whispy, Sylph Rogue 1
6. Rinka Chichi Wayang Ninja

Currently right now I have the group as follows
1 Quasit
2 Otha
3 MindXing
4 Redelia
5 Kevin o' Rourke 440
6 Yu Khan
7 Ylosani
Waiting list possible second table
8 Zin Z'arin
9 Sethran
10 Remnar
11 ??
12 ??
if there is enough people I will put Ylosani on a second table, and close all recruiting for the board, does this look right to everyone?

I just want to make sure everyone realizes that even if we are doing PFS build rules, actual PFS characters can't play in campaign mode. You play with a not-official-PFS character, and then you get chronicles that you can apply to a PFS character of your choice at the end. (Of course if you have a PFS character you love, there's no reason you can't make a copy of that character to be your character in an AP in campaign mode)

I was gonna ask how that works.

Hey, I'd love to step in with a "Copy" of this character Yuukyou the Harrow reader (I would apply it back to this character) if there is still room available at the second table!
I also have a Magical Child Vigilante I'd love to dust off and play, and vigilantes tend to be better suited for APs then for pathfinder missions anyways.

Is there a discussion thread set up for Table 2?
Can we use PFS-legal options that would normally require a boon? I've previously built a Tiefling Investigator for Reign of Winter that is still a good concept. I can build something else, as well. The table should probably coordinate our character concepts; an AP will want to have a more cohesive and balanced party than PFS scenarios, which are more forgiving of party balance.

Allowed Races for RoW
if boon is needed, only need it if it is a registered character (IE playing a Tiefling in RoW but will be registered to a Sylph character, you do not need the boon for Tiefling, if playing a Tiefling and will be registered to a Tiefling character, then will need the boon (to keep it clear))

Purely mechanics done, human fighter of Ulfen descent. I'm not 100% married to it but I haven't seen anyone else declare for a particular character aside from Zin's Tiefling Investigator so rather than dawdle I put together something I'd be happy with. He's pretty tanky but I could do up a Cleric or Oracle if no one is in the mood for a healer.
