Seoni is going to get a chance to close the Vault on the next turn. If you can avoid the Acid damage, it might not be a bad idea to stick around and take one more card out at the Woods. If you can't avoid it, it might be better to move on and explore somewhere else so you don't get hit.

You're free to go wherever you'd like, the big part of the plan is to not be in the same location as Seoni at the end of your turn, since at the start of her turn we'll find Black Fang in the blessing deck and you'd have to do do the cons roll. I'd say you could help out in the Woods or start the Catacombs. Though if you can pass the cons check then you're welcome to continue helping in the Vault. Just can't afford to take lots of party damage to Black Fang since it'll slow us down

Yeah, I still think we're doing okay, just want to make sure we get the locations closed. Based off of the pace it seems like we may even be able to knock out some cards from wooden bridge before Black Fang gets shuffled in. Or we could always close Wooden Bridge and keep another location open that is already pretty much empty.

So if i didn't goof this up, the absolute max number of turns we'll have is 35. Or 34 turns if black fang gets shuffled into a location deck before Turn 30 (Kyra). 33 turns if before Seoni's turn 24 which isn't super feasible, but could happen.
For calculations let's say 34 turns total (we close all but 1 location before turn 30). This means 20 turns left (including Liriannes current turn). We have 23 cards remaining which is 1.15 explores per turn. That's the actual number instead of the approximation i did a while ago.
So yeah, things look a bit messy at the moment, but we're still doing good! Just got to keep avoiding Black Fang damage and get ready to start closing locations, and no dying ;)

I can't pass the wisdom check with my cards (DC8, die is a D6), so I can't use weapons, which means I am very unlikely to defeat this enemy (DC 8, strength is a D8). Does someone have a card to help? Or can I use my emerald of dexterity on the wisdom check? The emerald's text says 'non-combat check.'

No i closed the thassalonian dungeon two turns ago then moved to the catacombs on my last turn so that is where I started. I hadnt realised you had not moved me there on the board preview which may explain why everyone else was staying at the catacombs
