The Alchemical Betrayal, A random thought I had

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

So, Last night I had this random thought pop into my mind of how a alchemist who works for the BBEG or a evil crime lord or something can betray his master.

The villain thinks his pet alchemist is loyal and asks for healing or a buff or something, So the alchemist hands him a infusion and he drinks it. Suprise! It was a infusion of Skin Send, The villain is horrified as instead of being healed his skin rips off his body. Double suprise! It was a tainted infusion set to end after one turn, So he is soon back in his body only to explode from the inside for 150% of the alchemists bomb damage! Now the villain is angry and strikes down the alchemist, But suprise again! The alchemist was a Doppleganger Simulacrum with a Implanted Bomb (From the feat) and so explodes upon death! The villain will never again trust alchemists, Meanwhile the actual alchemist is far away in safety after he already snuck out in the night before setting up the traps!

Sorry, This isent going anywhere.. Was just a random thought I had that I thought was so hilarious that I had to share it.

Just going to throw out something, since we are talking about alchemist plots- a mild mannered alchemist who actually has the master chymist... and his other personality is a huge, buff luchador wearing masked villain.

I go for luchador, since I was looking into tentacle based grappling builds at the time.

Anyway, you could use master chymist to create a second persona and have that act as the master villain's bane. Which can make the betrayal all the sweeter- his greatest enemy was working under him this whole time.

Awesome idea! I had a Master Chymist as my last character (Died two weeks ago..) He was a human who's other self looked like a female half elf who had a much more personal way of dealing with things. And they would sometimes leave notes with the party to give to the other one. Was super fun to Role Play. Unfortunately they died when a ice oni zapped them with a polar ray and brought them from full HP to -16 (Had 13 Con) The rest of the party used the distraction to murderize the oni's face and save the day though.
