Can the feat Unfettered Familiar give your Mauler familiar the ability to deliver a Touch spell 1/day?
Battle Form (Su)
At 3rd level, a mauler gains the ability to transform into a larger, more ferocious form and back at will. In battle form, the mauler’s size becomes Medium and the mauler gains a +2 bonus to Strength (this stacks with the normal Strength adjustments for increasing in size).
This ability replaces deliver touch spells.
Prerequisite(s): Caster level 5th, familiar class feature.
Benefit: Once per day, you can cast a touch spell without being in contact with your familiar and designate your familiar as the “toucher.” You do not require line of sight to your familiar to use this ability, but you must be within 30 feet of your familiar when you cast the spell, and if you can’t see or hear your familiar, you must at least be able to speak with it.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you do, you gain another use of this feat, and the distance you can be from your familiar increases by 10 feet.
Normal: Your familiar must be in contact with you when a spell is cast in order for it to deliver the spell.
If I've read these two correctly, the feat doesn't exclude familiars that don't have the deliver touch spells ability. Despite the mauler trading that out it should be able 1/day to deliver a 5d6 Shocking Grasp spell as a Touch so long as the caster was w/in 30' of the familiar and could speak to it right?
