Grappling and offhand natural attacks

Rules Questions

Playing a Free Hand Fighter,

With improved unarmed strike, TWF feat, on my attack with my EMPTY HAND LIGHT WEAPON, if successful can I attempt a grapple, also, will it do damage?

Scenario: Slice a mans chest with your sword, then jab with your offhand and attempt to grab his hair/beard/ear/throat?

Grappling is a standard action, so you could not use it in conjunction of a full-around TWF attack.

Unless you have a special ability like Grab (Ex).

Do you simply want to make an unarmed strike with your off-hand as a TWF attack ?

If you wanted to do a maneuver like dirty trick with a TWF attack, you'd need something like the Quick Dirty Trick feat.

There are no offhand natural attacks. Under normal circumstance, you could no attack with a weapon and then grapple on the same turn. You would need an ability that specifically allows it. This is what the "Grab" does, but that is mostly a monster ability.
