Actions During a Spring Attack

Hello All-

This is a follow up question to an earlier thread. Again, thanks for the help and direction.

Can you make a 'special attack' during a Spring Attack? Can you make a Disarm attempt? That only states you can do so in place of a melee attack.

Or, for that matter, can you preform a Vital Strike? Or is Spring Attack limited to a regular melee attack with no exceptions?

You can't Vital Strike. It's a Standard Action.

You can Disarm, Trip or Sunder. Those can be done in place of an attack.

You get an attack, which is like an AoO attack, or 1 attack in a full attack. So if you can do it for those then it works for spring attack.

Like they said above, anything that can be done in place of an attack. Typically, disarm, trip or sunder.
