Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hey guys, first post here.

I'm completely new to pathfinder and to table top gaming in general.

I played a lot of neverwinter nights when I was younger and when I say a lot, I mean ALOT haha.
so I have a basic understanding of the specifics of the game.

any chance anyone can bring a noob along for the ride some time?

Bonjour,

Welcome to the Pathfinder community. Your best bet getting started with a tabletop campaign is either to check with local hobby stores, or look through the list of PFS (Pathfinder Society) venture captains to find one in your area, and email them asking about local games.

I played, modded and DMed NWN a lot too, then finally found a group to play DD3.5 together (here in central France), then convinced them to migrate to Pathfinder about a year and a half ago. We've been playing Rise of the Runelords ever since, and are close to halfway through (one game a month or so).

From your nick, I take it you are in the UK? I understand there is a vibrant PF community there.

Cheers, --- Wheldrake

Hi Josh,
Welcome to Pathfinder. Feel free to pm me on this site or email me paizoconuk@hotmail.com and let me know where in the UK you are and I can put you in contact with the local Venture Officers and groups.

Or, if you're willing to post the information openly, we'll see what we can do.
(Though Wintergreen probably does have a better idea than most...)
