1. Can a longbow under the influence of a Bowstaff spell still be used as a bow? The spell description seems to imply not, but a previous thread on this forum says that it can.
2. If the bow is enchanted, does that enchantment apply to both ends of the quarterstaff? The spell description is silent on the subject, but since the Shillelagh spell specifically says that the spell enchants both ends, I am inclined to think that Bowstaff results in the enchantment of only one end.

The bow that is touched takes on the rigidity and toughness of forged steel, allowing it to be used as a melee weapon. The spell allows a shortbow to be used as a club or a longbow to be used as a quarterstaff, although the bow retains its normal hit points and hardness. The bow’s enhancement bonus, if any, applies on melee attack and damage rolls. Additional weapon special weapon qualities also apply to melee attacks if such qualities can be added to a melee weapon.
EDIT:Question 1 probably won't matter anyway. Worst case, I can dismiss the spell if I need to use the bow as a bow.
