How much it cost for a Silver Dragonhide Full Plate +2

Rules Questions

We found dragonhide from black and silver dragon enough to do 3 fullplate in our last quest. Since i got the silver one i want to make a full plate with it. I'm lookin for price in the rulebook and i figured out how much it cost to make a full plate +2 = 5650gp. silver dragonhide has natural immunity from cold(or electricity) and acid. i saw in rulebook that we have 25% off the price to enchant the armor so i try to bring this protection to me but i can't figured out the price. How much it cost to enchant the armor? Wich protection it give me? Is that worth it?

Your base maths is wrong.
masterwork Fullplate = 1650gp
masterwork dragonhide fullplate = 3300gp (double the masterwork cost)
+2 dragonhide full plate = 7300gp

energy resistance is a fixed cost increase to armours price so Energy resistance 10 normally adds 18000gp to the price.

If you choose to add either acid or cold resistance you only pay 13500gp. If you add fire resistance you pay the full 18000gp.

If you want to add both acid and cold you add 27000gp.

Dragohide full plate costs twice what masterwork full plate would cost, or 1500 gp + 150 gp for masterwork = 1650 gp; so 3300 gp for dragonhide full plate. Making it a +2 suit of armor is another 4000 gp, so 7300 gp.

The armor itself will be immune to that dragon's energy type, but it doesn't automatically imbue any resistance to you. You do however get a 25% reduction in the enchantment price for any Energy Resistance. You can add 10 points of any energy resistance to a suit of armor for 18000 gp to its cost, 20 points of resistance for 42000 gp, or 30 points of resistance for 66000 gp.

If you wanted to make that +2 silver dragonhide full plate armor also grant Energy Resistance (cold), that's where the discount would come into play. For Resist cold 10, it would be 7300 + 75% of 18000, or total 20800 gp. Similarly, you'd have to spend 7300 + 75% of 42000 gp, or 38800 gp total, to get Resist (cold) 20. Resist (cold) 30 would cost 7300 + 75% of 66000 gp, or 56800 gp total.

None of you considered that the cost to craft armor (or other crafting stuff) requires the crafter to provide raw materials equal to 1/3 the price of the armor.

If you buy normal iron full plate, that smith sells it for 1,650gp but he spent 550gp on iron and makes 1,100gp profit (for time invested). If you bring that guy the iron and he still charges you 1,650 then he's ripping you off - he should charge you 1,100 to make it for you and not charge you for his materials since he's using yours.

Same with the dragonplate. Presumably you could walk into a store and buy silver dragonhide full plate for 3,300gp. Why should you pay the same when YOU provide the dragonhide? If you bring 1,100gp worth of raw materials (the silver dragon's hide) then the craftsman should only charge you the 2,200gp for his time and labor.

If I'm GMing this, you would oly pay 6,200gp to have a master smith turn your dragon hide into armor, plus the 4,000 to enchant it to +2, plus more as others have quoted for the resistances if you want them.

That is a fair point that I had not considered.

I know of at least one instance where my players got ripped of by a crafter. not sure if "it was an honest mistake guv'nor" carries any weight- might have to see how that impacts on their character if they revisit him.
