Powerful cleric close to the stolen lands

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I am DMing Kingmaker and my players are looking for a cleric of at least 13 level to ask him for a resurrection spell.. They have access to teleportation magic, and no problem in asking to evil faiths..
Also.. Who si the most powerful spellcaster in that zone? And in Brevoy?
Thank you all!

From the settlement rules on average a large city will have 7th level spellcasting.

Pathfinderwiki's clerics by level page may help.

For fun send them to Razmiran.

Thanks for the link! yeah sending them to Razmiran would be hilarious, but i fear that it would drive them away too much from the plot, also Razmiran is such a flavourful place that using it as only a "seek some spellcaster help" would be a bit of a disappointment for me as a GM.
The rules for settlements are in the GM guide right?
Given that new Stetven has the title of metropolis i could easily say that the head of Gorum's church there is a cleric of maybe even higher power...

Edit: re-reading Pitax entry and Restov's.. Pitax is a small city..but there's apparently someone capable of casting 7th level spells (who would it be i wonder, since there's like two clerics of 5th and 3rd level...the second one is a mistake maybe?) While Restov, even being a big city has only fifth level spellcasting available...

GMG has settlements of 10,000+ having 7th level casting. ISWG has New Stetven, Restov, and Mivon with that population level in the area.

Our GM has Brevoy being "unhelpful", and Restov being very discrete about any aid after book 3, with civil war about to hit the fan any day. For some reason, we just can't get a solid connection to Mivon. So any Cure Dead magic has to come from us, and since there is no Cleric in the party, it's up to the Druid to Cure Dead.

Our GM has a custom Reincarnation table to reflect the fey influence in the Stolen Lands, there could be dozens of Druids in the area that could serve. You could even introduce higher level Reincarnation spells that are guarantee the correct sex, race, physical stats, and eventually a True Reincarnation.

It adds a bit of flavor to the game, since we've been playing KM since it came out with just the CRB at first.

Everyone has been Reincarnated at least once, most recently my PC is now a centaur, and General Snug needs a Cure Dead. We will be making a trip to the Boneyard shortly, so hopefully we will be able to bring the General back with us and get the Queen back to a human body.

Our GM has also put a limit on NPC spellcasting that exceeds PC spellcasting, IF it is available, and most likely it will not, it will cost much more than normal. NPCs max out on level around 8-9 for important NPCs unless PCs invest something in them, like marriage, cohort, apprentice, sibling or something. No one has except the Queen, so most of the important NPCs are Thieves, Rogues and some Paladins.

You can also buy the following in Uringen:

SALVE OF THE SECOND CHANCE:

Aura moderate transmutation; CL 7th
Slot none; Price 1,600 gp; Weight —
DESCRIPTION
Under tutelage from Embeth Forest sprites, Mother
Nightmoss developed this potent salve from the
distillation of nightmoss. When smeared on a body or
body part from a recently deceased creature, the salve
mimics the elects of a reincarnate spell. If this salve is
used on a creature during the night of a new moon, roll
twice on the reincarnate table and have the recipient
player or NPC choose his preferred result.
CONSTRUCTION
Requirements Cra" Wondrous Item, reincarnate; Cost
800 gp.

Both are good ideas! The issue i have with them is that the spell would be for poor

This is a spoiler for Kingmaker:
Maegar Varn.
who has been dead for at least two weeks the moment they reach his body, so a reincarnate spell would not work..creating higher level version tough...something like fifth level retaing the random element ?

You could also replace the material component with something more rare & exotic for increased effects.

I've forgotten about the Salve of the Second Chance, I think we used it on the first two Reincarnates we had.

Ooooh nice! Say, would your GM be willimg to share that table for reincarnation? If my PCs won't do it then there's still some people willing to resurrect the man...and it would be glorious to have them meet him directly as a reincarnated!
"Well you didn't resurrect me so someone else did...And now i will exact my vengeance!.. Or not! Still don't know how i feel with this stranfpge green body! "
The fey sorceress PC would be thrilled!

Also.. In the NPC codex the 13th level cleric is a Gorumite...almost too perfect..

I'll see if I can get a copy from him.

This is as close as I can get.
Hope it helps.

Excellent! ^_^

(I love reincarnate tables. My players are less enthusiastic.)

Thus far, I think we've rolled up half-orcs (2), half-elf, satyr, gnoll, human, catfolk, dwarf, and centaur. Not sure if anyone got fey touched yet, as reincarnated PCs sometimes get sidelined while the player sorts out any issues.

I'm thinking of renaming the kingdom Narnialand.:-P

We also get cards from the GM each year, Christmas and Birthdays, that usually include a "Mostly dead, not all dead" card. I think we've used maybe a dozen of those, plus a handfull of Raise Deads.

We also had two KIAs in the Fellnight Realm, which spat everyone out violently when we completed the module. The two PC's bodies were like comatose reincarnated versions of their original bodies, it made the dwarf/satyr happy to get a dwarf body back, but the other was my PC, the Queen - who had been our only Resurrection. The druids and fey figured they could transfer me to the Fellnight body if I wanted. My resurrected body was 34 and horribly scarred, and the new body 19 and virgin again.

I went with the younger body, so we had a secret cremation ceremony afterwards, and split up the old Queen's ashes among six trustworthy Paladins of Erastil to spread over 6 different rivers. All to prevent any shenanigans with who is whom.

(I had the horrible scar tattooed back on celtic-style)

Awesome! Thanks!
