I'm joining a game where combat is rare, and we are concentrating on RP using skills etc.
Taking inspiration from Silk from the David Eddings Belgariad and Mallorean cycle of books, my intended character is a rogue, bluffer, scallywag and all-round scoundrel, a true rogue...
BUT...with the ninja class using Charisma for their Ki, and bearing in mind that it's a political game, where being a 'face' is important, I have gone for a Ninja, with Weapon Finesse and Extra Ki as my first level (human) feats.
I have entered the game at fifth level, and plan to select Forgotten Trick (with a ring of ki mastery) to gain the rogue archetype talents dealing with re-rolls among others.
My problems lie in choosing feats.
The ones giving a slight bonus to skill hold no interest for me. I prefer feats to add another string to the bow.
Should I stack up on Extra Ki? Or are there feats out there that I should be looking out for..?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Extra ki isn't something you can take as a 1st level ninja, you need a ki pool first. 3rd or 5th, sure.
A familiar might be handy. Either variant multiclass as sorcerer or wizard & lose your 3rd level feat, or sacrifice a couple of feats (iron will + familiar bond, or skill focus + eldritch heritage [arcane]).
I do like the idea of amateur investigator.

At 1st level, I think you should just let your skill points handle the RP/intrigue/non-combat aspect of the game. Wait till 3rd level to pick a feat that will help that. Weapon Finesse is a good idea, because eventually you will need to fight and when you do you'll want to hit things. For the second feat, you might look to one of the feats that is beneficial to literally any character, such as Toughness or Improved Initiative. I know you would prefer something that is non-combat and not just a skill bonus, but at 1st level that leaves you with few choices. If we're talking CRB and you're not a spellcaster, you've left with feats like Run, Endurance, and those that increase saving throws. If your game includes traits, you could take the Additional Traits feat. Check out the Cosmopolitan feat.
