I recently got a subscription because I was excited to get Pathfinder Unchained, but it says that Unchained is in my Sidecart (never even hear of that) and expected to ship in July. I'm not sure why that would be, that's much later than I expected, months after it become available without a subscription.

The sidecart is an option that is avaialble to subscribers. (You can set items to wait to ship with an upcoming subscription order).
In this case, your copy of Pathfinder Unchained is waiting to ship with your next possible subscription order, which would be with the July release. If you do not change the shipping option when going through the checkout process, items typically default to the sidecart. You should be able to change the shipping option/method under "Step 2- Shipping" during the checkout process.
I have moved this out of the sidecart and set it to ship as soon as possible. You should get a new order confirmation email soon. Normally, you should be able to do this yourself, in the sidecart section of the My Account page, however the "ship as soon as possible" button from that section has been misbehaving. The tech team needs to take a look at what the goblins are up to there.
