That largely depends on whether you are just ready to start the next book or want to let them play in the darklands still.
Well, if her motive is that strong against Allevrah, then why would she also drop the PCs cover and make them fight and flee instead of just making sure they leave to stop Allevrah? The whole final fight scene is seemingly put there just to give the players a break from all the non-fighting that happens in this chapter.
Her motive for dropping their cover is even weaker given the potential fallout of letting a bunch of weak top world spies escape, given that she is supposed to be a powerful house matriarch. Sure, she will probably take it out on her clan for letting them escape, but she stands to lose great credibility with the other houses as well.
Personally, I would have Alcavniss avoid dropping their cover, unless they stupidly try to attack her. What could be more fun is to have her use the PCs to infiltrate another house (as a favor to her) and let them fight their way through that. After that is complete, she can give them the information they need and let them waltz out of the darklands with their cover intact.
