Are there any weapons that function like a darkness or shadow version of the Brilliant Energy weapon enchantment? I am about to start playing a character who is themed around darkness and such, and would like a weapon that is made of shadowstuff and/or darkness and maybe radiates shadows/darkness instead of light.
I haven't been able to find anything like this, but my google-fu is rubbish, so if anyone knows of any properties or something that would give a similar power to what I'm looking for, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thematically, you're better off turning 'brilliant' energy to 'umbral'. Brilliant energy is very specifically a PC-killing tool. It has no usefulness against most monsters, who rely on Natural armor, and is explicitly useless against undead and constructs.
It's made for killing things that have armor and shield bonuses, i.e. PC's.
Turn Brilliant into something that ignores up to ten points of Natural Armor, Hardness, or DR, and does no harm to celestials and positive energy creatures.
