So I have a character with the rather abysmal strength score of 5. She mostly works around this by making puppy fox eyes to other party members until they carry her bag for her, not actually carrying anything but a crossbow, wands, and scrolls (oh, and her clothes, which take up about a third of her encumberance by themselves). She is specialized in enchantment, which means lots of sleepy/held opponents, and while she does not seek combat, as an ardent follower of Calistria, if someone else initiates things, she will be sure to finish it.
So, it seems sleep then coup de grace is going to happen, and it is going to happen a lot. But even a 4x multiplier guaranteed auto crit is pretty wimpy when you have a -3 strength penalty! So, I have been looking for alternatives. PFS bans non gunslingers from buying firearms, so that is out. Crossbow would be obvious to bypass the penalty, but it can still be pretty wimpy damage. Can you coup de grace with alchemical items? I would imagine draining a flask of acid or alchemist fire down someone's throat would cause some harm, but I have no idea if that is possible within the rules. I suppose I can have shackles in the bag carried by my porter (er, barbarian friend), so that if they do live, I can try again. If they can be convinced, I would as soon convince a more martially inclined party member to do it for me (getting blood out of noble's outfits is such a chore), but one can't always rely on having a party member willing to murder captives :) Any other ideas?

A katana would deal 2d8-6 damage (3 average) + 4 from deadly for a DC: 17 save vs. death.
A Scythe would deal 8d4-12 (8 average) for a DC: 18 save vs. death.
A Tetsubo would deal 4d10-12 (10 average) for a DC: 20 save vs. death.
A Heavy Crossbow would deal 2d10 (11 average), for a DC: 21 save vs. death.
If I were you, I'd make sure someone in the party had a Scythe or Tetsubo, and carry a Heavy Crossbow for yourself.

Yep Heavy Crossbow is about the only worthwhile way to go in the route of weaponry. I don't think alchemical weapons like acid flasks work for coup de grace but I could be wrong. You could always carry around a jar of diminutive poisonous spiders or scorpions and pour them down the enemies throat while they sleep xD (probably wouldn't be considered coup de grace BUT repeated exposure to the same poisons increases the DC to save)

A large version of the heavy crossbow would weigh 16 lbs, which is the light load of a Str 5 char. Definitely not worth it. Even a regular one is 8 lbs. I'd pick a Handaxe for convenience's sake. x3 crit and only 3 lbs. Weight is just at too much of a premium to consider a bigger weapon, in my opinion.

Since some spells count as weapons it should be possible to perform a Coup de grace with a spell. As long as you have a spell that qualifies as a weapon you can use that when you can’t find anyone to do your dirty work for you. Even if you specialize in enchantment you should have something you can do when they don’t work. If you can get a staff of some sort with a qualifying spell that would be the ideal solution, if not wands and scrolls will work.

I'm not sure if the GM would allow it but:
Heavy Chariot with light ballista. Pulled by 2 bisons (because bisons are cool, and only cost 50 gp each).
A coup de grace with a light ballista would deal 6d8 (27 average), for a DC 37 save vs. death.
Edit: ah, PFS. Going to have to check the legality of that first.
Just use a snowball.
