Insane Prophecies

Advice

So my hero was driven schizophrenic by bug demon wailing in Wrath of the Righteous. At the beginning of stressful situations, like combat, he can be confused and 1/4 chance to babble incoherently for rounds, or attack self, or the closest creature.

The phantom cicada buzzing revealing false prophecies having nothing to do with most anything would be kind of a cool angle to roleplay I feel.

For damaging self to slap at imaginary bugs works too.

Any suggestions on prophecies for me to channel and spout when the fits take hold?

One could always go with pure gibberish. The words are coherent, but they don't make sense. For example, "Robert the Bard's fifteen arms will knit a pair of iron socks."

You could prophesy things that have already happened. That's always good fun.

You could tell the truth X% of the time and lie X%.

Alternately, just Google Nostradamus. Make index cards of the ones you like best. Shuffle, then draw at random.
