I would definitely rather see a Monster Codex 2 over another Bestiary. Lycanthropes are the only monsters that I really have a hankering for. Maybe skeletons, zombies, and merfolk too.

Hopefully they don't do any of the major outsiders though (ie. angel, devil, rakshasa, etc...) since those already have varied CRs.
They did a really good job with the first book. I'm sure if they do another it will be awesome.

This seems like a potentially really fun thread. Surprising it's not getting more posts. Oh wait there's another page.

Some of these aren't very sentient. Not sure if that's an option.

1. Mites: I'd love to see more information on these guys. There's so much potential for annoying final bosses. They're like really powerful kobolds, except they're too stupid to use their powers effectively so they're roughly equivalent to normal kobolds.

2. Phase spiders: Oh my GOD I love these things. They're just the coolest. End of story. No, wait, no it's not. Phase spiders are one of my all-time favorite D&D monsters. They take my fear of spiders and make it rational. Phase spiders are brilliant for suspense games, make spectacular recurring villains, and aren't even really evil. They're the Leng Ghouls of the Ethereal Plane.

3. Ettercaps: The kobolds of the forests, these trapmaking little geniuses really need a Pathfinder update.

4. Dire animals: Okay, weird choice, I know, but it feels like more could be done with these things. What's their role in the ecology? Does a dire animal ever rise to legendary status? Do they sometimes have special qualities? It seems like "dire" should mean something.

5. Doppelgangers: Sure, this woulda been a lot handier had I not just concluded their chapter in [AP], but I'd still like to see more.

6. Denizens of Leng: I love Leng. I love the Denizens. I want to see more.

7. Barghests: These guys have so much potential and yet, again, we have so little on them. They rule goblins! They look like wolves! They...Hey, wait a second—

8. Worgs: Come on, we really don't have these yet? They're intelligent(ish), they're classic...I'd love to see more about worgs. They act like wolves, but surely there's more to it than that. They have a structure.

9. Behirs: Maybe a it up there on the power scale, but...behirs. Hell yes.

10. Derro/Morlocks: I dunno, one of these two would be cool to flesh out the "cave races".

11. Cloakers: Aberrations are cool.

12. Chokers: Aberrations are cool. Plus, chokers make awesome Strangler Brawlers. Just ask my group.

13. Gargoyles: How do these things "organize"? I imagine there'd be a lot of ideas for cool archetypes/feats for these bros.

14. Xill: Hey, it'd couple well with phase spiders. And we know basically xilch about these guys (heehee). Boy, these are getting hard to think of.

15. Chimera: Hey, they have societies. Very, very small ones.

16. Minotaurs: Okay, this one would be very welcome.

17. Retriever: This is kinda weird, but I'd like to see more on retrievers. They're a kinda cool monster, but really hard to run effectively. Like a slithering tracker, the whole point of a retriever is the fear of being hunted by something you can't easily destroy.

18. Shocker lizard: I don't care. No, I don't care. This chapter would be adorable. I want it.

19. Vegepygmy: Seriously, I just realized I really, really, really want this. They're a non-evil, ambiguously-moraled plant hivemind. Let's hear more!

20. Ettin: Ettin

Oh, also, cyclopses could use some love. Like, any at all.

I honestly just want the other class templates. Thise alone maje the sale for me, any monsters i use being in it will just be gravy.

I echo the sentiments of my fellow reviewers when I ask to see a Monster Codex 2.

20 in total; 4 playable races, 10 monster races, 6 undead creatures.

Aasimar
Catfolk
Tiefling
Tengu

Centaur
Cyclops
Dryad & Fey Creatures
Ettin
Gargoyle
Giants (Hill & Stone)
Girallon
Morlock
Rakshasa
Treant

Skeleton
Mummy
Werewolf
Wight
Wraith
Zombie

Suli is a real cool playable race that could be added.

A Rival Codex could be awesome as well like the Rival Guide but with a few more low level teams and maybe sections for groups like; gangs, monks, zealots, tribes.
