Evil campaign - way of the wicked and devil's pact.

Advice

Hi. I need some advice. An evil campaign based on way of the wicked will start in few months. Our master has given some limitations, I'll be a human cleric with the unholy barrister slightly modified. The problem is the demanding channel ability. I can spend 2 uses of channel to heal those who spend an immediate action to swear loyalty to asmodeus. In exchange for healing characters are considered under the effect of devil's pact feat for 1 minute/level, so they can use the +2 to any d20 roll once (instead of 3/day) and if they die they can only be resurrected by wish or miracle and 3 levels less. Now, our master is afraid of that feat, because he feels that he cannot hit hard for the fear of killing some of us. So he want to revise the thing. He proposed me to use sacrifical channel feat, though I don't like it and I think is ineffective (it allows to spend channel during coup de grace to heal). Now, what I ask is:
1) any idea to modify the demanding channel ability to get rid of devil's pact but still gaining some backlash?
2) some advice on a possible build around the sacrifical channel feat, even using 3rd party feats, just to have some idea in the extreme case I'm forced to do that.

Please don't comment on master restrictions :)

Have either of you played with this archetype before?

Sometimes things work very differently in practice than they appear on paper.

So, if i understand correctly, you can burn two channel attempts to heal prople? What's the limit on that, three times a day? I don't think that's a big deal.

If he's concerned about the permadeath problem, i wouldn't be. Remember, players don't have to take the deal.

But my advice is to keep looking around. There's no shortage of cleric archetypes or feats.

Perhaps have him look at Conversion Channel for ideas?
