I'd like to request consideration for a book on the noble families of the Inner Sea. There are some snippets here and there about their trades and what they are known for, but unless I've missed something big, I generally have no idea on the patriarchs and matriarchs, the attitudes of the families, how far they stretch from country to country, their holdings, or how their families are organized. Such fluff would help me with some more political intrigue once our Crimson Throne is completed and I imagine could come up in all sorts of games.

This is a good idea.

An even better idea would be to include a whole bunch of this sort of thing in a gigantic, 256-page Campaign Setting book about the Empire of Taldor.

Sovereign Court

Without some product like this idea, one is almost forced to look at Golarion through a Westphalian lens since any given point on the map is within the boundaries of one country or another, rather than the possession of any given family.

Nobility is definitely a common PC origin (and is better suited for a book than "Orphanages of the Inner Sea") and common source of antagonists.

Of course, there's a distinct possibility a lot of the area is blank intentionally to give players and GMs room to note whatever weird family they want/need.

This is a great idea. It would be very interesting to learn more about these families, both the large and internationally influental Chelaxian and Taldan families, and the more localized minor houses like the ones in Brevoy. I'm sure many crave to know more about all this courtly intrigue going on behind the scenes. Maybe with some rules stuff for more politically aligned characters and campaigns, as well?

I would also be very interested to learn what kind of different titles are in use in different countries, and I would LOVE seeing some heraldry, family trees, and whatnot.
