How can we build a character that can just throw his enemies around the battlefield like toys?
I was thinking if you can True Strike a bull rush, you're essentially guaranteed to succeed and push them at least 10 ft if not more. Similarly, a True Strike reposition will let you move someone basically anywhere in or adjacent to your threatened space.
So for a reposition-focused character I am thinking Flowing Monk, and by taking Qinggong Master you can get True Strike in-class. Then if your GM allows you to take a monster feat, you can then take Quicken Spell-Like Ability at 11th level to get Quickened True Strike.
Here's a first stab at a build:
Human Flowing Qinggong Monk
strength 18, dexterity 14, constitution 12, intelligence 10, wisdom 14, charisma 8
1: Combat Expertise, Power Attack, Improved Reposition, Redirection, Flurry of Blows, Improved Unarmed Strike
2: Unbalancing Counter
3: Improved Trip, Maneuver Training
4: Ki Pool, True Strike
5: Improved Bull Rush, Elusive Target
6: Ki Throw
7: Improved Grapple, Hydraulic Torrent
8:
9: Greater Trip
10: Spring Attack
11: Quicken Spell-Like Ability (true strike), Whirlwind Attack (ki ability)
12: Abundant Step
13: Greater Reposition, Diamond Soul
14: Acrobatic Steps
15: Greater Bull Rush
Between Reposition and Trip (which he can use as an immediate action when attacked), Bull Rush (including Hydraulic Torrent), and Ki Throw he should be tossing enemies around the battlefield. True Strike allows basically an extra 20 feet that he can move the enemy when needed. Spring Attack combines nicely with Ki Throw to run up and chuck the bad guy somewhere, and Whirlwind Attack plus Ki Throw lets you chuck every enemy within reach. At some point, you probably want to become permanently enlarged for both extra reach and the ability to bull rush and reposition big monsters without using Hydraulic Torrent.
One big question: is there any way I've missed to be able to use Bull Rush and Reposition on higher size categories? And is there anything else I've missed that could make this build more effective?
