Prerequisite: Human.
Benefit: Choose another humanoid race. You count as both human and that race for any effects related to race. For example, if you choose dwarf, you are considered both a human and a dwarf for the purpose of taking traits, feats, how spells and magic items affect you, and so on.
Prerequisite: Racial Heritage.
Benefit: You gain a single racial trait of your choice from the race you picked when you took non-mythic Racial Heritage. That racial trait can't modify your size or ability scores. You also gain the racial language of the race (if any) if you don't already know it. For races with multiple racial languages, you gain all of them.
Mystic Past Life (Su): You can add spells from another spellcasting class to the spell list of your current spellcasting class. You add a number of spells equal to 1 + your spellcasting class's key ability score bonus (Wisdom for clerics, and so on). The spells must be the same type (arcane or divine) as the spellcasting class you're adding them to. For example, you could add divine power to your druid class spell list, but not to your wizard class spell list because divine power is a divine spell. These spells do not have to be spells you can cast as a 1st-level character. The number of spells granted by this ability is set at 1st level. Changes to your ability score do not change the number of spells gained. This racial trait replaces shards of the past.
So, what happens when a human becomes mythic and takes Mythic Racial Heritage to gain Mystic Past Life at a level above 1st?
The Advanced Race Guide where this race and trait were introduced was written at least a year before Mythic Adventures was finalized, so it makes sense that they didn't anticipate a way for a character to gain a racial trait at a level above 1st. So, was the intent "the number of spells gained is set when this trait is acquired, and cannot be altered by changes to your ability scores?" Or can this trait only be taken by a character at 1st level? Because there is no level restriction per se for racial traits or the feat that grants them.

So what I'm reading is this. At level 1 you have a set number for your stats. Let's say you have 16 Cha and are a sorceror. That means that if you had 18 Cha at level 8, you'd still only count as having 16 Cha. Only a +3 bonus. Regardless of when you took Mythic Past Life, you only have that 16 Cha. So you could only add say, 1 + 3 (16) bard spells. Not 1 + 4 (18) bard spells. I hope this made sense.
