Repicking of factions, only for the new factions?

With the 5 new factions replacing the country based factions, is the option to re-picking a faction to join for existing characters open for characters of this new factions?

Say I got a Grand Lodge faction character, would she be left out of the option to repick and join one of the new factions? (Other then spending PP.)

Asking this, as after reading all the blog posts on the new factions, I realize at least 1 of my characters in the Silver Crusade and Grand Lodge factions would have joined a new faction, had those factions been available at the point of the character creation. (It was the country ties that turn them away from picking those factions initially.)

Any character, of any Faction, may change to any Faction, once Season 6 begins (or somewhere around then).

Unfortunately I don't have a link for you. There have been so many threads discussing this (and a couple YouTube videos) that the answer is out there if you look.

How will the Prestige awards from factions be handled. I like my Knight Captain Eagle Knight. How will they be grandfathered in or will there be new options to sink them into. I personally cannot wait to see the full list and find out.

Slightly related - does anyone know if we're getting a PFS guide preview for this year?

Last year it was great to get some little fixes done before the actual guide came out (except for the version number for the preview and the proper release being the same!)

If the retiring of the Lantern and Shadow lodges are used as examples. It is likely any purchased faction boons would be grandfathered in.

I'm certain that the guide Mike's hoping to release on Monday will be the final one. It's entirely possible they'll make updates after GenCon if there's something really off, but I know they won't release another guide between Monday and Thursday.

Slightly on topic. If I join Andoran (mew one) can I qualify for sat steel falcons from the andoran book or does this change that too?
