So, they are the same thing, but different name. Why?
1.) Because quality control in the splatbooks is atrocious. See: Sacred Geometry.
2.) Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they realized it was dumb putting a per day restriction on all these Rogue Talents and decided to throw them a bone by allowing an option to at least double their uses.
Though 3.) It's a trap option meant to make you think the above is true, but really you're just wasting TWO Rogue Talents on a garbage ability instead of one is more likely.
