Another RP Question, this one about Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible

Pathfinder Society

Liberty's Edge

Hello All-

Possible spoilers herein.

Back on May 5th I posted my problem with the scenario The Midnight Mauler. How the protagonist got away with murder and got some awesome responses. Now, I have yet another issue with the morals of the Pathfinder Society.

In this scenario, Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible, the avoidance of justice is even more egregious. The target of the adventure, Zamir, has been implicated in and in fact is suspected of murdering the local VENTURE CAPTAIN. Yet, the Society wants us to convince to leave the Aspis and join the Society. Even though, again, he most likely murdered the VENTURE CAPTAIN. What is up with this?

I wanted to see him punished but everyone else in the group wanted to talk him down. Being the only member who could speak Vudrani I had to begrudgingly translate. In the end, Zamir was convinced (by my diplomacy role none the less!) to leave the Aspis and join the Society, who accepted him with open arms.

What is up with that? I mean Midnight Mauler was bad enough letting the murdering character walk free. But this? Killing a Venture Captain? What is the Society, or more importantly their leadership thinking?

This is just one uptight Andoran's point of view, but how does everybody else feel about this?

As a parting note, thank you to our Venture Lieutenant for running this. Even with my moral conundrum, he did an awesome job. Had a blast.

Thanks for reading!

I apologize but this posted 10 times. I was on an airplane using the provided internet and it went crazy. I'm really sorry.

Liberty's Edge

Does anybody else think the Decemvirate has completely lost their minds?

I recommend playing eyes of the ten.
