Klars and Shield Feats

Rules Questions

So I'm playing a Shoanti barbarian for a Rise of the Runelords campaign and I am taking advantage of the Thunder and Fang feat from the Pathfinder Player Companion Varisia Birthblace of Legends. It reads

Benefit:You can use an earth breaker as though it was a one-handed weapon. When using an earth breaker in one hand and a klar in your offhand, you retain the shield bonus your klar grants to your Armor Class even when you use it to attack. Treat your klar as a light weapon for the purposes of determining your two-weapon fighting penalty.

My first question is, considering that Thunder and Fang provides the same benefit (and then some) as the Improved Shield Bash feat from the Player's Guide, should Thunder and Fang count for the prerequisite for Shield Slam or would I have to take Improved Shield Bash even though it would provide me no additional benefit?

Secondly, when using Thunder and Fang, I would take a -2 penalty to attacks made with both the earth breaker and the klar. If I later take the Shield Mastery feat from the Player's Guide, would that alleviate the penalty on attacks with the earth breaker as well, or only the klar?

Thirdly, if the Shield Mastery feat allows an enhancement bonus on a shield to apply to weapon attack and damage rolls, does that enhancement bonus count as the required weapon enhancement to give a weapon special properties?

Thank you in advance and I apologize if any of this has already been answered somewhere else.

1:If this isn't PFS, I'd ask the GM, since it does the same thing. If it is, then no, Thunder and Fang does not count as ISB for prerequisites

2:Shield Mastery would only apply to the klar, as the Earthbreaker isn't a shield.

3:I do not believe so, since it isn't an actual enhancement bonus to attack and damage, just treated as one. Though ask your GM [if its not PFS].

Here's your answers:

1 - We can let Thunder and Fang substitute for Improved Shield Bash, as they are pretty much the same thing.

2 - Nope, Shield Master specifically refers to the shield, not the Earthbreaker.

3 - Nope, the +1 requirement prior to adding special abilities to weapons needs to be permanent.
